I have a wide foot and find it difficult to get a proper fitting boot. I ordered this on line and found it to be an amazing comfortable wife boot. I would buy it again

Been a Merrell fan for years, these boots do not disappoint. I walk 5-10 miles a day for work and my new Moabs are comfy as ever. Thanks!

second pair in a year and a half , only because i spilled acid on first one of the ones and destroyed the thread, still wore for 2-3 months before it came apart. one still good as new ! worn nearly every day for work in grease and other chemicals, still strong, soles still good, still very comfortable after many 12-14 hr days im 240 plus and nothing ever lasts me more than 6 months or so! i am sold, simply the best in its class

I messaged Merrell to ask what they recommended for being on concrete all day. They recommended this boot. I had recently purchased a different brand of work boot and really suffered with knee pain. Since wearing the Merrell the pain has practically gone away. Seem to be a decent work boot.

These run small, if you look on their size chart carefully, they tell you how many inches each size actually is. I wear a size 12, but I had to return the 12's as they were too tight in the toe. then I ordered a size up, a size 13 because they don't offer half sizes after 12. they came in 12 M and they are still a little tight but comfortable. In a perfect world, I would send these back for a 13 W to be a little more comfortable, but I can't wait any longer as I need these for work, so I will live with them. When purchasing consider a full size up and possibly trying a W for wide in this particular shoe. Otherwise, they look and feel great, Merrell makes the best shoes in my opinion, and you can expect a long life from these.

I prefer Merrell's but also like Keen and Nike.

Just received the boots today. They look great and crafted well. Surprisingly!! They are not a cheap pair of boots. They fit extremely well, very precise fit, so I would recommend anyone purchasing these to buy them a half size bigger. Unless you like an exact fit! I'm being lazy and don't want to send them back so I'm hoping they will break in. Normally boots and sneakers have some wiggle room thats why I purchased the size I did. They are really good boots overall.

I bought these a while back and have been very happy with them. I hike in areas that are remote and without trails. The landscape can be very rugged. My only wish is that these boots had more aggressive vibram soles for the rough terrain. Unfortunately I have to wear another brand of boot to do those areas. I would buy these again.

I've only had these for 4 weeks and I work on a golf course. It's very damp when we start at 0500. So far they are good but I wish they would ask in 6 months to get a better opinion of them

You should order one half size up. They're a little snug.

Update on my last review. I finally wore them for an entire day and as I mentioned before, they are true too size no wiggle room . Light on the feet so they don't really slow you down as much toward the end of my 10 hour day is when it became a problem. I had to tighten them up and when I did the top part by the ankle started to hurt really bad and that was disappointing ?, but if I where them loose enough they are great. Luckily for me it really doesn't snow here at all, and they do great in the rain. I didn't slip at all.

Very comfortable boot! Great traction! Great breathability! I'm a milk delivery driver in extreme northern NY in the Lake Ontario lake effect snow belt. We get some very extreme weather here. I will deliver as much as 85,000 lbs of milk in a day and do an average of 20,000-30,000 steps per day on a mixture of concrete, blacktop, gravel, snow, and ice. I have struggled to find a boot that holds up to the rigors of my job. I have owned work boots from other major brands but the cushioning in the footbed usually goes out in about 2.5 - 3 months! The Merrell MOAB Mid work boot is the first boot I have found that I love! My first pair have lasted me about 6months. They are extremely comfortable!!! In the last couple weeks they have started giving me blisters on my left ankle due to the padding wearing down to the shell. I was really hoping I could get at least a year out of these boots but unfortunately didn't happen. I have ordered a pair of the Duluth Pack/Merrell boots today to see if they will hold up to the rigors of my job better. I would love to work with Merrell as a field tester to see if we could improve the padding in the ankle area of these boots. If they are interested in such an arrangement I hope they will contact me! Great boots over all and I plan on continuing with wearing the Merrell work boot line! I definitely recommend these work boots! Thank you!

They are NOT waterproof. The tread is breaking apart and the soles are detaching from the boot. For a casual boot wearer on a nice or drizzling day, they are a perfect boot. For every day work boot, they will not last long.

The shoe fit, it was snug so I had to return them for a larger size, but that was easy. After 10 months and only about 6 months of use, the soles have started to come unglued, I need to exchange them. I really do like Merrell's but these have not performed as I had expected and for the money, $155 I would expect better.

I have had these for less than 5 months. And already the souls are coming apart. A lug torn off one and the heel splitting on the other. And from relatively light use. Not what I expected for the reputation from others. I tried several others before deciding in this one. Pretty disappointing to be honest. But I would likely give then a second try.

Merrell Moab Vertex Mid WP non-metallic: The materials of this boot design lack strength. Within 15 miles of hiking across soft desert terrain pieces of the sole were splitting and tearing. Whoever designed this boot likely knows nothing about strength of materials. I suspect recycled materials were used for the sole and front rubber toe cover. This rubber material has poor shear and tear strength. I've never before experienced a boot fail so quickly and easily. I am now attempting to reinforce my boots with Shoe-Goo.

The size 12 fit like a size 11, tight and painful. Had to exchange them for a size 13, still waiting for them to arrive.
