I've worn many different work boots but this is my first pair of Merrells. First off, these boots are extremely comfortable. There's something in the sole that gives every step a little bounce. Only time will tell how long they hold up but I'm very pleased so far.

I use these shoes for work, it is very light and comfortable. I am on my feet and on concrete floors for 10+ hours a day. I would buy again.

Look great, feel great

This is a very attractive work boot/hiker. Dresses up decently in black. Amazed at how light this boot is. It looks like it will weight 3 lbs, but is very easy to walk in -- won't wear you down. Toe is very solid -- but haven't tested its durability or strength.

As a devoted Red Wing work boot fan, I decided to try these as a lighter shoe,and it definitely is. Same composite toe,but a bit more flexible for kneeling, and climbing. I still favor the Red Wing work boots for ladder work, they have a stiffer sole for the narrow rungs of ladders. Also, I'll guess the puncture resistance is more robust in the stiffer leather work boot. These are the great replacement when those two are not issues,ladders and punctures. Glad I bought them, after all my other Merrell shoes, I had no doubts.

The Moab vertex mid waterproof comp toe work boot is comfortable and ready for use right out of the box.

By far the best boot I have owned will be owning nothing but Merrell's from now on

I work for Frito-Lay as a maintenance technician. The plant is large with concrete flooring that is wet or greasy in most areas. I walk an average of five miles each night and the Merrell's have been amazing. The grip is amazing. Zero break in time. I have been a long time Redwing Boots customer and now I will be wearing the Merrell works!

I'm a railroader and our boots take a beating so we buy top of the line boots for our protection and comfort these have been the best comfortable boots I've ever worn feels like gym shoes I'm impressed and I really love my new boots now let's see how they survive on the ballast !
