I have several pairs of this style from prior years in other colors and absolutely love them, but this pair seems to be running a lot smaller. See photo - both are size 8.5. I am returning for a larger size and hoping they fit because I love this new nude color.

Very disappointed in the sizing of this sandal. I have same pair in different color from Nordstrom 7.5 which fit perfectly but sadly the Zappos 7.5 was much smaller. Interesting. Very nice shoe just size is off.

Oh yes, these sandals are the perfect style and very comfortable. The only thing is definitely size up as they run small. And even for a rather mid to narrow foot the M width is a smidgen too narrow. Won’t stop me from wearing them though! Just wouldn’t recommend if you have a wider foot.

The style was just what I was looking for -- simple and neutral sandal to go with everything, but primarily to wear with summer dresses. I love the look! I normally wear a 9-9.5. I ordered the 9.5 after reading reviews of running small, but it was even a little short. However, the 10 I ordered as a possible replacement was just a little long with the extra length making the toe strap go a little beyond the ball of my foot, so I kept the 9.5. The inside of the toe strap is soft & comfortable, unlike other sandals I've tried.

I love, love, love these sandals and have ordered and reordered for a few years now, since I wear them out by wearing them daily. I usually get the tan leather and the black ones and they're perfectly soft and never rub a blister at all. I just ordered the nude leather ones, and I love the color. Unfortunately they are not as soft as the black and tan ones are. So I'm experiencing a bit of rubbing :( I wish they were the same material. Overall, I love these sandals so much.

I read the reviews before purchasing and everyone was right- these run very small. I have narrow slender feet and wear a size 9/9.5 depending on the shoe so I thought these shoes would be a good choice for me. I typically have to return shoes that are wide because they are too loose on me. I ordered a size 9 and a 9.5. The 9's are just too small. My toes hang off the front edge when I walk in them and the strap around the top of my foot barely fit and was at the last hole. The 9.5 are almost perfect but I still think I could even size up to a 10! (but worry that the top strap above my toes will be too loose). The only issue I have with the 9.5 is my toes are still right at the top of the edge of the shoe. I don't have "long" toes by any means, just the top of the shoe doesn't extend long enough. and I can still only get to the 2nd hole of the top strap. The thing I like about the shoe is they are comfortable and good quality. The soles aren't hard and have a bit of a cushion to them. I also like the design and are simple and will go with any outfit. Overall, I think I may keep them- I am trying to decide if I want to try a 10 still but either way, I like the shoe regardless. For anyone with wide feet or chubby feet, I don't think these will work for you :(

Was so excited to finally find nude flat sandals with a heel strap in leather. Online, these looked exactly like a pair I was trying to replace. Sadly, these run a half size, possibly almost a full size small. They are also a strange color. These are not nude, they are more like a pale taupe color. The pictures are deceiving on the color. Watch the video, that deeper color is what they truly look like. These would be great for someone with a deeper skin tone, but not for me. I will not be exchanging for different size because the color is so off.

I should have heeded other reviews that the sizing has shrunk…my toes hung on the edge and the ankle strap barely got around my ankles - and I don’t have big ankles. Too bad cuz they seemed nice.

I agree about the sizing! I have three pairs of these from the past few years and i bought this nude color in my normal size 7 but it was too small. So i got the 7.5 and it was identical to the 7, so you really need to go up a whole size. I noticed these were made in Mexico and the others are made in China so they are likely made a little differently.

I owned a previous version of this shoe and wanted a replacement because they have worn out over 4+years after walked many miles in them! However, I was surprised when I ordered my same size (7.5) and my toe was sticking out over the edge. I recommend sizing up.

I am very pleased with these sandals. My husband said someone was checking out my feet, my response was, "Of course, that's 'cause my shoes are so cute!' I had to buy a half size up because my size was sold out, and yet they fit marvelously , all round comfort.

These are my daughter's favorite sandals. She wears them almost every day during the summer, for travel, play - until they fall off her feet Thankfully Steve Madden has kept the style going for a few years.

The strap over my toes was way to wide for me. I wouldn’t be able to walk with my foot slipping around. I loved the Sandler itself and really wanted them to fit.

A great summer sandal.

I wanted these to fit, but the strap that goes over the top of the foot by the toes was really loose and the shoe was sliding around, and I even have a borderline-wide foot.

I bought the yellow/white/gold version of these shoes for my 11 year-old daughter as a pair of summer sandals. They are casual enough to wear with shorts, and also looked great with sundresses. She's worn them at least three times a week for the last two months and they are definitely beginning to show some wear. But then, she is a kid. Given all the running around she has done in them, the buckle has remained intact the straps haven't stretched out and the sole is solid.
