I've had many pairs of the Manawan I. I wanted another but found it had been redesigned. This new design sucks. There is no longer slits in the front or back so you have to smash/stretch the fabric to get your foot in. Also, it now requires you use a hand to pull it up over your heal. So lame. Not only that but the insole is of such crap QC that the sides are bent up in the pair I received so it feels like I'm walking around on a piece of rubber on the left side. Who designed these? Did you really stand around the prototype table thinking "wow, we really have a winner here". Or was the goal purely lowering cost but charging the consumer more? I don't get it.
