I instinctively question the quality of brands who's popularity is among "basics" but this particular boot is a solid choice for rain/snow and all terrain especially in New England. Very warm, comfortable and great for those who have wide feet. In regards to durability, 3 months in and so far, so good - the semi-rigid structure will cause distress and eventual destruction but well worth being warm, comfortable and dry.

These boots are all the I expected and more. Very comfortable to walk in and very warm. I've had many compliments on their look. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They look like sneakers but act like boots! Totally waterproof! They ROCK!

I bought these shoes at the beginning of the winter and it's been a great experience so far! The boots are very warm and totally impermeable to snow and rain. And the inside is very soft and cozy. I really recommend them!

Boot are awsome. Thet wear well and are very comfortable. Great styling without being over constructed. BUT Really @kip001 .... DO you really have to be wearing your pink hat to even write a shoe review ? Most fashion items are gender specific, it even said so in the description. Please save it for your next woman's rally, this is not the place.

Sorel is a proven maker of footwear that can handle the bitter cold of Northern life. There is an additional challenge in many Northern areas... that is the ubiquitous slush in and around the Great Lakes States. Weatherproof (ie slush-proof) is more important than warmth. The Metro Boot is as comfortable as a sneaker, weatherproof, and has a great look. It's not too warm for wear once you get indoors (work, office, etc.). I'm planning to get another pair in a different color

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He wears these all the time as they look like tennis shoes but are warm like boots. I would highly recommend them.

These books s are incredible. Soft and soooo comfortable. Great in rain and snow. Used them snowshoeing in 30sh degrees, so nice to have a light, insulated boot. I wear them all the time now in this wet winter we are having. I can't say enough about these boots. I bought three pairs (and no, I don't usually do things like that).

Although it runs large the boot itself is very comfortable and offers a unique fit. I purchased a pair and had to return them because they were too big. I was fortunate to have a family member purchase another pair for me for Xmas. Now I feel like purchasing a second pair and another color. Warm, Waterproof, light and cool looking

My son loves this boots. They run a bit large and are wide.

My HS son needed a waterproof boot with some warmth but could also ben worn for the school day. Great style, good amount of warmth and provides the right level of sports and urban style.

This is the best boots purchase I've done and I love them so much. I've got the black ones with enormous cut-out SOREL brand on the back part of the boots. The design is hip, young, stylish and urban. The fit is comfortable and soft in the inside. The best thing is when they are wet, they dont make those squeaky noises on my work office floor and not slippery at all. They are good for heavy rain or light to medium snow condition. A MUST BUY!
