The top of the vans aren't completely black like the picture and the soles are faded. Definitely not the true black all around.

I've gone through 2 pair in 6 months. But mise footwear or even mozo sharks. Berks are better

I bought the other non slip style with laces and they work perfectly. After about 6months I decided to replace them and bought these. The pair I got does not work. I've worn them about a week to work and I am still slipping and sliding with just water on the floor. I have to stabilize myself on the counter if there is oil. I don't know why but the pair I got does not work.

I would not buy theses shoes again I paid extra because these are better than the regular old school slip Ons and they came an off color of black they weren't black black like they're supposed to be it was like the dye was off. How did that get past inspections it looks like an old faded pair, but they were brand new I ordered them from Vans.com had to go through waiting for them to be shipped to me and then call and go down to the mailbox place and get a label created and send them back and I'm still waiting for my money and now I have no shoes ridiculous

In the 4 months I've worn these shoes, I've fallen 4 times, and am constantly slipping. The shoes are completely faded and the canvas fabric, which is incredibly hard to keep clean, is ripping away from soles. For 80+ dollars I definitely expected more.

Plusses: comfortable, a lot of room in the toes, my orthotics fit. Minuses: Shoe stretches out too much, heel slips out. The color faded in 2 weeks; they're not black anymore, so I can't wear them my all-black uniform (they turned a dark teal). The dealbreaker is there's no traction. I work in a kitchen with a floor that is always wet and it's too easy to slip.

Soles have worn down, the sole is starting to come apart, the canvas is ripping. They didn't last five months.

They are not slip-resistant. All I buy are vans, and I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I fell multiple times and was left very bruised.

Wife literally caught me slipping, wish I had read the reviews first.

Not slip resistant at all. Slipped on floor in kitchen at work and pulled a muscle in my leg. Not a great first impression at new job

I slipped and fell at work on the smallest amount of water. I have bought these shoes 5x + and never had any issues. Now my ankle is twisted and my back is hurt what happened!? Had yo do an incident report at work and idk when I will be able to go back.

I bought these shoes cause I love this brand so much. But they ARE NOT non slip at all I literally have to tiptoe in the kitchen cause they are so bad

Ive been buying these shoes as a server for 5 years now. The "newer" version just suck and have NO slip resistance. Do not recommend, 1st shift I fell

I love vans, normally. But this pair was the worst for non-slip. I was slipping during my entire shift. Definitely will not buy non-slip vans again.

I bought these "made for makers" thinking they would be a good option as my work shoes. I noticed that the color was starting to fade and turn greenish and then over time it became very apparent that these shoes were no longer black. I tried to exchange them for a regular pair of black slides but because it was slightly past their 6 month return policy I was not able to exchange or get a refund. This was very disappointing, that their shoes are only guaranteed for 6 months and that an exception couldn't be made given how close it was to the 6 month mark especially since it's a defect in the shoes and not based on normal wear and tear as my work environment is not demanding at all.

My biggest issue is that they are not slip-resistant to a recently mopped floor or oil-ridden kitchen. I have to hold on to something and just end up sliding across the floor praying I don't drop something or run into someone.

You're better off with Skechers non slip. These shoes have you sliding and falling everywhere in a restaurant kitchen.

I got these for work because they are "slip resistant" and they do not seem to be. The color of them was also off. Supposed to be black but are grey

These are not non-slip! I feel like I'm skating through the kitchen. They are not black. They originally looked very dark green, now they look faded and bleached. They are comfortable. But they are falling apart after 4 months. Disappointed with the quality of these shoes.

I am a bartender in a restaurant. These shoes are NOT slip resistant as advertised. Especially on the slightest liquid or food on the ground. Thought I could break in tread, but couldn't. Also, I've used them for 7 shifts and they have already faded. NOT worth the $111 I spent total with overnight delivery.

It's true what other comments say! I thought I would give them a try but in all honesty they suck! They aren't black first of all. And I bought them specially for work. Since I work at a fast food restaurant I needed non slip shoes since I have to also go in the kitchen to grab stuff. This was a big NO NO. I was slipping left and right. Never again. Vans are a great shoe brand but for non slip shoes well this ain't it.

i love vans for everyday wear but these are not for restaurant use like advertised! i can barely stay on my feet in the BOH. it's so slippery !! and after a month of wear, they're grey you can see the difference in the black soles and light grey canvas !! also the bottoms are already starting to wear down.. i'm so sad because i feel goofy in other non slip shoes and i thought i would finally look cute at work :(
