I bought these shoes because I work in a restaurant and I wanted to still be stylish. My big issue with them are that they're not really black. When I got them they were grey and now they're kinda greenish and they just look terrible. My other issue with these is that they're not very slip resistant and I find myself slipping and sliding all over the place. My advice: just buy the shoes for crews ones.

They are NOT black. More of a teal/green/blue color depending on the light.

I love all things Vans and was so excited to see they finally came out with a slip resistant work shoe. However, after working 30+ hours a week, the shoes are falling apart. There are holes in both sides where my pinky and big toes are. For $80+ a pair, I would think they would last longer than two months. I normally never write reviews, but don't want anyone else to have extreme excitement over these just to be disappointed in the end. Now looking into finding a pair that will last somewhere else and having to spend more money.

These are comfortable but that's all they got going for them. I've almost slipped while holding bus tubs and could've gotten seriously hurt. Don't buy for food service

Have been buying slip-ons since 1970. Last three pair were a total disappointment. If pop cush soles get wet think skunk-stink (1 week of wear).

This product is terrible quality, the sole is not slip resistant. Save your money and go to shoes for crew.

I work two jobs, one of which is in a kitchen. With a little bit of water on the floor you are still slipping as though you have regular vans on. I do not recommend buying these shoes. They are nice, but are not safe false advertisement.

They aren't even almost slip resistant, I almost fell the day I wore them. I can't wear them.

On the website the black of the rubber and the fabric on the shoe match, but the fabric is actually an ugly green black color and clashes horribly with the bottoms of the shoes. With all of my coworkers also wearing black shoes it stands out so much that mine aren't truly black.

Awful, if you are looking for shoes for work please don't get those, they are supposed to be anti slippery but they are not. They slip and put you on danger. I bought those shoes for work and sometimes i need to move fast but i can't cause I'll fall if I do. Don't get them please

They are very very slippery. Fell the first day wearing them.

How does a shoe feel too large and yet too small at the same time? My toes are exactly where they should be but painful on the sides. My heel slips out with every single step. They seem to be semi slip resistant but to be honest I don't even know if I will even make it to my first shift in these. I'm in my basement hoping they "break in" better. I'm super bummed about these. I'm a long time fan of Vans.

I felt like I had a bunched up sock by my toes. No the lining near my pinky split and looks like it was just not properly sewn in. Frustrating.

I'm a server and these shoes slip off my heel but are the right size and not slip resistant. Highly disappointed, would not purchase again.

Got them and they are not durable at all. Got 3 pairs of the cloth material and they were dark green. Also all them shoes end up with a hole on the sides close to the plastic material. Need better shoe glue. These are $5 more and not worth it.

The back of this shoe was cut too short compared to my other vans slips on. My heels completely slipped out. I sadly had to return them.

I'm so sad a out these shoes! I purchased 2 pairs, 1 for myself and 1 for my daughter. We both work in the restaurant industry. These are the most dangerous shoes to work in on a freshly mopped floor. Bought these cause they were slip resistant, , THEY ARE NOT! super bummed, wasted alot of money. Vans, do better! Oh yeah, and they're not black. More of an olive color

I like the aesthetics; it matched my job's criteria, but at the end of the day, a small puddle from an ice cube would land my shin into the backboard, or cupboard/ lower shelving. Because of the many slips, I took them back before I could fall.

i ordered a pair of these shoes a few years ago and they were AMAZING!! When i went to order more i realized that they changed the shoe completely. These completely fell apart within a month. Bring back the old ones!!

This shoes don't work ! I took a hard fall at my job in the bar area DONT BUY THIS

the bottom of the shoes sole was already worn off after a couple months and the edge of the shoes were unsealed. Not worth it, I've bought shoes 40$ less that last 2years with nothing wrong with them.
