these are super comfy and go with everything.

I have worn these makers shoes since vans brought them out. Years. Same style. They work very well for serving tables and bartending in a busy restaurant. I am disappointed that they are out of stock. And I have sent a email to vans asking about the product without a reply. I would be willing to buy another style of Made for the Makers being the UC is out of stock but I can't even find the other styles on vans website. This discourages me greatly. I will have to find another shoe for work. Please Vans, bring back Made for the Makers!!!!

I'm sad they discontinued them. I would buy a pair every year. The only dislike is that they never stayed a true black color.

super comfy but could be more slip-resistant. still serves my needs well

I had bought a pair of these and they are not black they are a dark forest green color. Wish they could be a true black color like the original slip on vans.

These shoes are super, super comfy, but a little less slip resistant than what I thought they would be. They also fade into a weird blackish greenish color??? I would, and I have recommended them to several others! Everyone liked them so much that I even had them stolen out of my car! Only had them for 3 weeks!!!

I have the slip on slip resistant. I do love them they are very comfortable however the slip resistant isn't as affective as other slip resistant shoes. I would purchase again...very comfortable.

I work in the restaurant industry these shoes are the best comfort wise being that I'm on ny feet sometimes 14 or 15 hrs a day. I wish they didn't wear out so fast the soles are detaching around the heels i feel like there has to be a better adhesive for this its the 2nd pair that its happened to!! But i love my vans for work or just everyday down to the slides!!

I do like these shoes for work. They are comfortable and fit right. My only complaint is that they are green....not black, and they fade quick.

I work in a high volume restaurant. I buy these once a year but the last 6 months I've come to buy them they don't show up in the vans "made for the makers" selection or even the non-slip filter. I have to google vans nonslip to find them. I wasted $ on other shoes because I thought they didn't make these anymore. Then all of a sudden I'm drunk thinking I should just check Google for any of the ancillary sites and it comes back with the vans website having them. Wow.

I work in fast food and my shifts are usually 9hrs. These are super comfy and don't hurt my feet. Only issue is the color. Looks kinda green, like worn out black.

Mine did not come black. They're a weird faded grey/green color. Almost hit the floor on multiple occasions. Super comfy though! Lolololol

I like these shoes but they wear out fairly quick. The reason I keep buying them is they're the comfiest vans shoe I have ever worn.

The color is very off and they wore out quicker than expected for the price. They lasted 5 months and I wore them every day at work. I run around about 10 miles per day. I work in the freezer throughout the day, they didn't hold up too well in there, I was slipping around after it would defrost while bringing in my loads. They are the most comfortable non slip I've owned though. Probably because I live that vans life.

I've worn through three pairs of these while bartending. So far they've all been pretty comfortable and durable, but I -- and many others I'm sure -- would appreciate a slip-resistant outsole. They're very clearly marketed towards the types of folks who work in environments where slipping is an obvious possibility, so please, give us that special outsole and take our money. Also, PLEASE bring back the white canvas, its more breathable than leather and develops a nice patina.

I ordered these black on black shoes. When they arrived the color was more like an off black closet to gray on black shoe.
