I've bought 2 pairs of these. Love how comfortable they are. Yes they turn a weird color after a few weeks of full time wear. Yea they get holes after a few months of full time wear. They are for sure a non slip shoe. I'm 38 and been in the food industry since 15. I think other comments saying they are not non slip havnt actually been in different restaurant settings. Going back to the holes.... Vans are cooler when they look old! Absolutely love these shoes! Need to buy another pair! I just spray painted mine black after they got that weird grey/green color! Works like a charm! Vans are life!

I can wear these all day.

I have never been able to wear a pair of non slips more then 3 mo.! I was able to comfortably wear these for almost 2 years! I work them on hard wood floors & the only reason I need a new pair is because leather started to get holes. I never even had to use inserts. The shoe soles held up for that long!! Worth every penny.

I purchased these shoes earlier this year. I work in an animal shelter; imagine the messes these shoes see during 10,000+ steps a day and they're still going strong. Slip resistance is great. The canvas IS more gray than black, but oh well. I will point out for everyone else mentioning it, slip resistant and oil resistant are different qualities.

This is my second time buying Vans for the makers work shoes. They are a win for the price and style compared to other work shoes that I was looking at.

I am a waitress. Have been for 25 years. These are great nonslips. If you normally like vans and find comfort wearing them you will like these. If you normally do not wear the brand be sure to get fitted. I wear a womans 8 in the authentic tie and slip on. So an 8 was perfect for me in the work non slip. They do fit better after I washed them ill.admit. They were a bit loose at first but I gave room for swollen feet considering my job. Well I washed them as I do all of my work shoes. Dried them in front of the fan and after drying they fit perfectly.

I needed a pair of slip resistant work shoes since I work around a lot of water. So far, these have been really great. They are flexible, have nice cushioning, and are decently supportive.

Just a great quality shoe. Still on my first pair after wearing them for over a year.

It's my 3rd pair. Love them. No more foot pain.

The shoes fits comfortably. Wore these shoes to work at one point and it was worth the wait.

They are so comfortable and perfect for restaurant slip resistant' I love them so much as well as all my other van shoes I own.

These shoes are so comfortable and true to size The color was a little off but i actually like the green tone so no complaints!

These shoes are my holy grail work shoe and I hope they never stop being made. I've worked 14 hour shifts as a server without getting sore feet. Hundreds and hundreds of miles walked. These shoes withstood all sorts of drinks and sauces spilled without ruining them. They lasted me about 3 years before having to replace them!!!

Absolutly love the comfort of these shoes! Will always be my go to after mine have worn down!

I like how comfortable they are at work. They don't wear easily at my bakery job!! They make weekends more comfortable for standing all day till night! Really love my old normal vans but I can't wear those to work. These are great for any vans lover!

I bought these shoes a year and a half ago now I've been using them Monday through Friday 8 hours a day. anyone who is looking at this shoe and wondering if these shoes will work for u THEY WILL. When I first got them, it did take a bit to wear them in but after that they are and will be the only shoe I will buy for work. They've withstanding the almost 200 degree dish water i work with and most of all I haven't slipped or even came close to it. In conclusion these are probably the best shoes u can buy for kitchen work.
