Very disappointed in this boot. Loved the way it looked and it did feel true to size. However, the top of the boot is very stiff. The back panel makes it inflexible affecting my gait. My walk is awkward and uncomfortable. They are on their way back.

So tight! I ordered a half size ip & it still felt pretty narrow everywhere except my heel. I was sad b/c I think this boot is adorable & seemed like it would be really warm. If you have narrow feet this will be the perfect boot for you.

I got a full size up and the foot part fit very well. The shoe looks very well made, and the sole is solid. The problem was the back of the boot which is very stiff, such that I could feel it cutting into my calf with each step. Have to return.

I'm returning these because as soon as I put my foot in and tied them up I could tell the ankle would be uncomfortable and let a lot of snow in. The shaft of the boot is quite stiff and has a very wide opening that doesn't close entirely around my ankle no matter how hard I tug the laces, and I have pretty sturdy ankles. These *look* good but they seem terribly impractical for actually wearing in snow! I ordered the moss green color and it looks more grey in person, though the white sole looks really nice. The only positive side of wearing the boot is that the lining is very soft and comfortable. I sized up a whole size and thought with thick socks they would be cozy around my foot, but what's the point if they're stiff and open on the top?

I own the Joan of Arctic Wedge II Shearling style that are super cute, true to size, and warm. These are cute but had to order 1/2 size up per the reviews. They aren’t very comfortable and or warm. After wearing them for a half hour, my toes were numb. Don’t order these if you want boots to keep your feet warm.

I sought to simply replace the same Sorel boots I've owned previously. This should have been a no-brainer. I ordered up 1/2 a size. The boots arrived and felt small and narrow. Not what I'm looking for.

There is no wiggle room in these boots - they are very narrow. These won't be good for anyone with a high arch - very difficult to get the boot on.

Great looking boots. For me, however, the toe box was too short, even in a half size up. Heel, conversely, was really loose. I would not have been able to get in around in these shoes without either losing a toenail or having blisters on my heels.

Gorgeous boots, but they are very narrow across the toes! I have slightly narrower than normal feet but I still has to return. It’s a shame, because they’re very cute.

Everyone said get a half size bigger because they are so narrow. So I tried to do that but the Zappos suggestion engine said to get my real size, which I ended up doing. Now I am returning them because they are too small. The toe box is very narrow. They could also be a little longer, the end of my toe is touching the front of the toe box. So if you are going to order these and the Zappos engine says order your size, get a half size bigger! Really. They are cute though and the faux fur is soft. I am going to stick with the Snow Angels which are wider and anyway have more insulation.

I felt like my feet were moving around inside when I was walking. Heel also felt weird so I thought I might need more of a mid-calf boot rather than ankle boot.

Had to return them way too small and narrower. I run right about a 6. They are very cute boots.

Another pair of Sorrel boots going back because they are too small! I usually wear a 5 or 5.5, and in Sorrel Joan of Arctic I wear a 5.5 and they fit fine. I followed other reviews and went up a half size and they still felt too small. Sending them back

I was looking for a short winter boot that would be easy to slip in and out of for taking the dog out. I wanted to love these, but every time I started to put my foot in (even with laces loose), the whole top sort of crushed down and made easy on impossible. I normally wear a 9 in boots (Keen, Baffin, Hoka), but this 9 seemed too small and too narrow. I like the wider tow box in the Keens, perhaps Sorel is generally narrower. When I got the boot on, it seemed like it would be comfortable if it were a little wider. It was the perfect height for snow that's not deep enough to require a tall boot. The quality seemed good and it was a nice looking short boot, just not the easy on/off I was hoping for. I am returning these (thanks Zappos for your awesome return policy!!!). I ordered a 9.5 and a 10 and while the boot was technically bigger, it was still not easy on. I had the same issue with the Sorel Explorer Carnival and the Snow Angel-perhaps Sorel brand just won't work for me. Once again, thanks to Zappos for the best customer service and return policy ever!
