Perfect boots for my needs - warm, comfortable, waterproof, and stylish I normally wear a 7.5 and occasionally an 8. I did size up to 8 on these based on other reviewers and they are generous but not too big. I can wear a thicker sock if I want as the weather gets colder. I did not find these at all narow in overall width or in the toe box. Since they are a true lace-up, you can adjust the width to suit your size. Love these!

Not a particularly warm shoe. I wore these when I went out to clean the snow off my car the day after a storm. It was 40 degrees outside but even with the vigorous activity of scraping and shoveling snow, and even wearing my thickest Smartwool socks, my toes got pretty cold standing on the snow and with snow sometimes falling on them. My hands inside my down mittens stayed warm, even though I used them to push snow off the car so it wasn't that I was cold overall. The insole is completely flat (no arch support), but cushy foam so the effect is of wearing slippers with better traction. I was able to walk confidently on lumpy ice (from compacted snow), where my hiking shoes would have felt slippery and unstable. The toes felt surprisingly roomy, despite the narrower, somewhat pointed profile. I think it was to do with the softness of the suede, which feels thick and luxurious.

These boots are really cute and felt great. I have wide feet and high arches so I could have used a little more arch support, but they were fine. The 7 1/2 velvet tan color were great and that is my usual size. I don't know why they just didn't look good on me. I tried them with all kinds of jeans, leggings, skirts, but they just weren't for me. I am so sad to return them as I really wanted to like them and thought they would look good. I hope you have better luck.

These are cute in the photos but on my size 42 or 10.5 feet they looked weird. Especially the white fluffy tongue part. The shoe laces needed to be wider and more holes across. If that makes sense. As in the contrast of the white tongue with black laces made the tongue bulge out too much in spots. Not uniform bulging.

My feet are still cold. I work on a concrete floor inside Lowe’s lumber department. I’ve been wearing them with wool socks and still having to put warmers in my boots. I love the look and feel so I’ll still wear them.

Loved the look, color and weight of the shoe. Returned because it was about half size too small.

The boot is both cute & flattering to foot. There is just not enough support for my feet.

Loved the look of these boots. Ordered the size 8, which is my normal size, but they felt tight through the toes so unfortunately had to return them.

These boots look great and provide good traction in slippery conditions. They are nice and warm, however, I do wish the footbed was removable so that I could add an insert with better arch support.

I thought these were cute, but they hit my ankle and the top of my foot weird so I returned them.

I ordered these boots in my usual 5.5 size and they fit perfectly with a med weight sock but were a little bit narrow but wearable without discomfort. These boots look cute, more elegant than the Out N' About, but I was very concerned about the felt insert on the boot front. I think it likely would stain easily in the ever wet WI. weather and seemed thin. I also have a high instep and the tongue was barely wide enough. The treads looked great for traction, the leather was good quality and the boot was well made but did not look warm enough for someone with perpetually cold feet who should really live in a warmer climate :) To be fair I didnt actually wear them outside as I was returning them. Bottom line these are a good looking quality boot, just not exactly what I need.

The rustic look to this boot is what attracted me. For daily outdoor activities during the winter months, and easy summer hikes, this is the Perfect boot for my climate (San Francisco Bay area). Pay attention to the other reviews that advise sizing up. I did (10.5 to an 11) and the length was spot on. Reviews also mention that this boot runs narrow and it DOES !!. I wear a medium width and there was barely enough room for a thin pare of socks, let alone something heavier in the colder months. There is no room for the foot expansion during a hike or long walks. It felt tight immediately. Were it not for all the other comments about width, I would say the boot is mismarked. SOREL, please check into this because I would love to repurchase this boot once the width issue is resolved. Sorry to say this pair of boots is being returned.
