I read the reviews for these and the words "cozy" and "warm" were oft used. However when i put these on cozy was not the first thing to come to mind. The shearling is just a bit of trim and i would say these are like a wintery sneaker. Single digits today and my feet are pretty cold, and i am inside all day mostly. For the price i would expect better insulation. Good on snow and crud but slippery on ice. I would send them back but they are really cute. Am wearing wool socks, i always go up a half size in snowboots or the toes get cold from touching the tips. Wish they were fully lined. If you want fully lined amd super warm get the UGG Viki, those are super cozy waterproof and warm

This is one of the best pairs of cold weather boots I've ever purchased. They are warm, waterproof, comfortable, and stylish, which is a difficult combination to come by. I normally wear a 7.5, but sized up to an 8 after reading some of the reviews. I probably could have worn the 7.5, but I'm glad I did size up because I can wear whatever thickness of sock I want. I did not find these boots to be narrow either overall or in the toe box. In fact, I think they're fairly generous width-wise. The fact that they are a true lace-up boot makes it easy to customize the fit. I have worn these at least 10 times in the few weeks I've had them and I just love them. Sorel is my go-to boot brand from now on.

A breakdown of my review: Fit: Other reviews stated that the toe box was narrow. I have felt this way about other Sorel boots, but not these, and I tend to like wider toe boxes. I ordered my normal size. Comfort: I have plantars fasciitis and am all about comfort. I have not spent large amounts of time walking in this boot yet, but so far they seem comfortable enough. Style: I really like this boot. I have been looking for this style of boot for some time. I would like the boots better if they didn't have the fuzz on the back because without that I think they would be more versatile and could be a fall and winter boot. The fuzz on the back makes them more seasonal, and only good for winter styles. They are true to the picture. Function: I think they have good tread. While I have not worn them in ice or snow, I imagine they would be fine. They are warm. They came with a tag that said "made with waterproof materials". The shoelaces are round and hard, so unless you tie them really tight, they are prone to coming untied easily.

Toe box is super narrow on these. I went more than a full size larger, and my big toe was still cramped and pushing on the top of the shoe. Really wanted to like these. Tried two different sizes and still no luck. Grateful to Zappos for allowing me to have free returns.

Based on other comments, I went up to a size 12. Glad I did, they are a touch long, but with otherwise feel nice. They are narrower in the toe than some of my other boots but these still fit fine. I enjoy the cozy fleece on the outside and the nicely lined interior. I think they will be very nice for cooler weather in the winter.

Love these boots, I have to order Sorels a half size up but them have room for heavier socks. I just wore them for two weeks in New England wet and cold and my feet stayed warm and dry the whole trip. They are very comfortable,wore them on several hikes through Acadia National Park and they provided good traction on wet trails

I ordered up a half size after reading reviews, these still felt very off, they were tight in the toe area and just overall uncomfortable. They are cute, but going back for another style

These really ran small for sorels and the back heal is extremely rigid and uncomfortable

After reading all the reviews I ordered a 7.5 and an 8 to figure out which size would be best (I usually wear a 7.5 in boots that require thicker socks including two other pairs of Sorels I have) and the 7.5 were the winner. I love the style and they feel warm. I also walked over 6 miles in them the first day I wore them. Besides a little bit of rubbing on the outside of my right ankle, I had no issues! I'll just wear longer socks while I break them in.

I've had these boots for a couple of weeks and was very happy until tonight when I went out for a walk. It was snowing after a rain and the ground was slushy. I found that a little bit of slush when right through these boots and by the time I got home (after a short 25min walk) my feet were soaking wet. Definitely NOT WATERPROOF!

I love these boot! They were comfortable immediately. I walked for 2 miles with no issues. I have bunions so boots usually hurt. These don’t. The top of the boot is soft wool. I take a size 9. As recommended I ordered a half size bigger. 9 1/2 is perfect. The width is good for me.

I’m continually on the hunt for the perfect winter boot. I like these. I did order a half size larger to wear thick socks. They were comfortable right out of box and I wore them all day. They are a good winter city boot. I wouldn’t wear them in deep snow.

Based on the reviews and recommended sizing, I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal, and they were still too tight. The toe of the shoe was a hair narrower than what I prefer, as well, so I returned them. I did like the material and style of the boot, but preferred the style of a second boot I ordered to try. I would recommend the boot, but in a whole size larger than normal, especially if you want to wear a nice pair of socks with them.

Absolutely LOVE these boots! Super comfortable. Typically wear 8 or 8-1/2 and find the 8-1/2 to be the right fit in this boot for me. This is the second winter wearing this pair and while they look more weathered, they’re still cute. Not a true snow boot, but totally good for wearing out in winter “slop”.

I had very high expectations of this brand and I loved them when I got them. They are my 1st pair or Sorels so i didn’t know about the fit, but I wear a 6.5 med comfortably. I sized up a half size as recommended but it was still too small and very narrow which I hadn’t read in other reviews. I’m so sad because I could tell they would have been a really great fashionable boot for winter.

I went back and forth about ordering these because it’s so hard to know sometimes how shoes are going to fit. I knew if they didn’t fit I could easily send them back. I am between a 9 1/2 and a 10 and I ordered the 10 and they are perfect. They are warm, very comfortable and cute as can be. I am on my feet all day for work and they were comfortable all day, no break in time needed. They were a little snug across the top of the toe area at first but they did stretch out. I just can’t get over how comfortable they are. Very well made also.

Runs 1-1/2 sizes small but they are really cute, so size up.

I wanted to love these, but they were too tight. I have 2 other pairs of Sorel boots (both size 9) that fit great. These were really tight in the toe box. I ordered them in black. While they looked cute out of the box, I was worried about winter salt from snow ruining the nice suede finish. These boots just did not fit well or seem practical for real weather.

Cute bootie in person, and lightweight but the toe box was too narrow for me and my foot is pretty narrow.

I’m always in between a 7.5 and 8... wish shoes made size 7.75! These 8s are perfect!! Fit snuggly, and the boots are easy to put on. They are absolutely gorg! I got the grey.

I LOVE these boots! They are comfy, they keep my feet warm and dry. And they are SO cute! I always by a 1/2 size up in Sorel.
