Comfortable for a boot with a fairly high heal. I walk everywhere and I think these are fine for a 2 mile round trip, anymore gets abrasive and makes the ball of my foot sore. Nice sturdy leather, but the fabric lining means they don't really stretch (even at a cobbler) and these run quite narrow. I sized up 1/2 size which helped a little. The leather scuffs easily, but I think that's the look with this kind of leather. The insoles that come with the shoes are glued in, but can be pulled out. They offer no arch support and very little cushion, so I use an insole from a running store, cut to fit the narrow toe box.

Fits perfectly in my regular size, just like my other Sorel's. Very comfortable and able to stand in for hours.

This is a beautiful shoe but slightly narrow for my foot and I always have trouble with this height of boot rubbing the front of my shin. I ended up keeping the spring step boot.

these are great. They are super cute I always get compliments when I where them. I can wear them all day and my feet never get tired.

Not a walking shoe, at least for me, someone with somewhat sensitive feet who walks everywhere. I went on a 4 mile walk around town and the balls of my feet started aching around mile 2. (For comparison I have a pair of Naots with a similar heal that I can walk 8-10 miles in without discomfort.) There's no cushioning or support in these shoes. The sole isn't meant to be removable, but it's just held in place by two-sided tape at the heal, so I was able to pull it out and look at it. It's just a very thin, flat piece of foam. No arch support. The traction on these shoes, however, is top notch and the leather feels substantial without being hard. I found the shoes ran quite narrow, so I sized up one (the length on my usual size was fine) and took them to the cobbler to be stretched for a week. The cobbler pointed out that since the lining is fabric rather than leather, and the upper is glued in place rather than sewn, they couldn't stretch it as much as a shoe with higher quality finishing. I found their cautious stretching did the trick though, adding just enough width in the toe box that my toes don't feel cramped. A good shoe for running errands close to home or wearing to a place where I'm mostly sitting.

This style is just not for me, in person, they looked a little costumey, like something you would wear in a saloon scene in a Western. I could see them working with the right outfit, but not an every day boot.

These shoes were really stiff. I would have a hard time walking much in them. I am normally 6.5 and they were snug. I ended up returning and keeping the Sorel Cate.

First of all these boots are stunning! ? I put them on they were TIGHT! So much so that I thought I’d have to return them. I decided to leave them on for a bit and they started to stretch a little and after about an hour they were a much better fit. Beware if you have wider feet, these might be difficult.

Love this boot but it was too small. Will have to return. Leather is somewhat fragile as it looks as though it will scratch.

Sorel boots are always shorter and narrower but I love the styles.
