After 1 year of use I would recommend these gloves. They are thick enough to wear by themselves, dexterous enough to do most tasks, but sized appropriately to fit under heavier gloves/mittens. The downside is the amount of moisture they hold on to. These gloves wear quickly if used without an outer shell; however, they are still very usable. I primarily use them for 20-35 degree weather without any other layers. The screen sensor has worn away, primarily because I used them for operating heavy equipment and working out in sub-zero temperatures during the winter months. I tore the fleece outer layer on a sharp piece of metal, but It did not break the waterproof inner layer. The hole has not gotten any larger since the initial tear a few weeks ago. These gloves are waterproof, which is great, but also means if you get sweaty and gross the fingers will retain moisture and freeze up once you stop moving. Additionally, since they are fleece the outer layer will hold moisture and freeze if they get soaked. They do dry quickly though. If temps drop below 20 degrees these liners are useless by themselves, and they will need to be paired with a heavier glove. I highly recommend these liners. If you're easy on your gloves and it doesn't drop below 25 degrees too often these are money and will last you a long time. If you're hard on your gloves or work an active job or operate machinery you will probably need to replace them every season. For me they're well worth the money when on sale. Full price- I would have to pass. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because they retain too much moisture.

I have terrible circulation to my hands, which makes my love affair with skiing somewhat problematic at times. To keep my hands functional, I have to wear a liner and usually a mitten for downhill and a midweight glove for ascending. Mittens are not very handy for transitioning in the backcountry, so I tend to use my gloved hand for all the dexterity-requiring tasks and then put my mitten back on for the descent. Many a liner glove has gotten much too damp during a transition, so I was excited to see this option from OR. I've used the waterproof liner extensively over 2 winters and love it. It will eventually get kinda damp if I'm using it for ascending in a blizzard, but even so it keeps my hands warm enough. I love the pull on loops for functionality and quick stowage on a pack caribiner. Even the touch screen compatibility was awesome until I must have washed them too vigorously in the laundry machine (no dryer though). Now the fingertips only activate a phone screen when they're a little moist. So I'm buying more and will be more gentle with laundering them... or just not. Don't judge me.

Wasn't sure about these gloves. The "waterproof" label made me wonder if I would have just as much sweat inside the gloves as they kept out. I have been happily surprised by how well they have breathed while keeping the wet out.

These are perfect. I wear them as a regular glove. I don't recommend doing much hands on work in them, being a liner you can tell that's not what the material is for. They are a great glove to keep yours hands warm and dry

Needed waterproof gloves for trip to Antarctica. They were perfect for trips on the zodiac and on land. Only downside was that the touch sensors didn't work on my phone so I had to remove one of them to take iPhone or camera photos. Kept my hands warm and dry.

I am replacing my Kinco leather work gloves for these. I'm getting my husband a pair too. We have a dairy farm in Upstate NY. I wore these gloves on Sunday to feed calves. Snowing, heavy wet flakes. Spilling milk all over the gloves, while filling bottles. Clearing wet snow from their feed buckets. Not having to take the gloves off because they froze stiff due to wetness. VERY impressed. I could squeeze my fists and see the excess milk coming out, like wringing a towel. Absolutely NO wet feeling or freezing fingers. I'm very anxious to see how long they last. My leather work gloves are hard to maneuver, especially when they freeze, rendering them useless. Thanks so much for these gloves!

I took these as backup gloves to the Antarctic. They worked perfect for what they are. Windproof, fairly waterproof (not for a downpour) and worked the touchscreen on my iPhone. They are not bulky and I would wear them much of the time on the zodiac trips. Great product

These are good. I like the pull loop. They are warm enough until I have to switch to something thicker higher up the mountains (was hiking in NH White Mountains). I like these gloves.

I love these gloves so much I bough 4 pair. They are my go to winter active glove. What I appreciate most about them is that the fingers are not restrictive. Usually, the seams in the fingers make them too tight and my hands are colder in gloves than in my pockets. These gloves have enough finger room for me anyway, they are soft and keep my hands dry when working outside. For me, they wouldn't be warm enough for sedentary activities or for holding something cold, like the snowblower, but for chopping wood, yard work in the winter (maintaining a hiking path through the woods), dog walking, driving, etc. they are great.

I bought my first pair on vacation because they fit perfectly and I couldn't feel the seams while I had them on. Most thinner gloves have obnoxious seams that constrict my fingers and blood flow just enough to make my hands colder with gloves on than just in my pocket, but not these. They are soft on the inside, windproof, and very water resistant. They were perfect for every day wear on vacation. Then when I got home I needed gloves that were dexterous and water resistant for doing some winter trail maintenance that involved lopping down scrub trees and bushes, and some chainsaw work. They kept my hands pretty dry, fit well so they were dexterous, and showed minor wear on the palms. I don't know if the seams are sealed, but in between being in snow, picking up wet logs, and my body putting off moisture, my hands were dry enough and warm, which was amazing. My hands were a little damp after a few hours, but they were still warm which was amazing to me as my hands are always cold. I was so impressed with them that I bought another pair. I've worn them shooting on an outdoor range in cold weather, driving to and from work, and regular daily wear. They are my favorite gloves and I'm leaving this review because I was on the website again looking to buy a couple more pair so I will have them for years to come should they change the style or discontinue them down the road. I have not worn them for sedentary cold weather activities, but I would wear mittens for that type of activity.

Used these for glacier field work in SE Alaska this Spring/Fall and they were great! Kept hands dry enough to keep warm, despite some condensation buildup while working in wet/freezing conditions. I wore them into freezing streams, put them down slushy auger holes, and went elbow deep into snowpack while digging out study sites - insides stayed dry and warm. The outsides do tend to soak up some water and need to be wrung out periodically to prevent freezing or rapid loss of warmth if they're off even for a few minutes, but I can't complain too much for how well they handled the wet and cold. 100% going to buy another pair when I ware-out my current set.

Have long fingers, large but not meaty hands; size XL fits perfectly. OR glove sizing seems to have struggled in the recent past, when the only OR gloves that fit were XXL ( typically military, as Convoy's) - but sizing remedied. Really looking forward to using them where outer shells could wet out, like digging snow caves, or for winter fishing

Great liners! I've worn them maybe a dozen times thus far, and 3 of those being hikes. They performed well. Although I haven't had the chance to test out the water resistance yet. They are very close to skin fit and have a great warmth for a liner. Grips work well, works with touchscreen well.

These gloves fit like all gloves should. The fingers are long enough and seem proportional to the advertised size. Most glove aren't nearly long enough in the fingers for me but these are.

Well constructed gloves. Warm and comfortable in the wind. Beware of the unisex sizing. The small gloves fit more like a women's large...long fingers. Didn't want to go through the hassle of returning...just going to use them for suitable activities in which a loose fitting glove isn't a bother.

These are super warm and keep the water out, but they are a little too bulky to wear in my OR gloves. My dexterity is definitely decreased when wearing both.

Comfortable and good waterproofing. Only drawback is it's actually retains a bit too much heat- I bought it to use when my activity level is highest (ie climbing/skinning) and then put a regular glove over top for summit/downhills, but I started to over heat at higher activity levels in about 30 degree temps
