made my feet sweat and swell up bad. then breakout into a rash all over my feet after wearing them once for just hour.

I had the previous style of this boot - I loved it so much I had three pairs and wore them all out. I bought these expecting the same result. Unfortunately, these boots are so narrow and so tight, they are uncomfortable and my feet are freezing all the time. I knew they didn't feel right as soon as I put them on, but was blinded by my love for the previous ones, and kept thinking, "oh, they're leather, they'll stretch." Nope. I've been wearing them almost two weeks and am going to have to give up. I wish I had returned them right away.

I really wanted to wear these boots because of the style and color. I have had several pairs of Teva sandals and shoes over the years and they were all comfortable and did not require breaking in. The leather and structure of this boot is very stiff and they were painful even for the first few minutes I wore them after trying them on. I had to send them back. I expected a better quality of materials at this price point.

Since De La Vina boots are no longer available I was hoping these boots would be a good replacement. They are not any way close to the De La Vina boot. While stylish, the boot hits you in the shin while walking and they are very stiff and would need a long break in time. Also, the right boot went on easily but the left boot was extremely hard to put on and then I needed help to get it off. I walked 5 to 7 miles in my old boots and they never let me down. So comfortable and warm. It is such a shame that they stopped making them.
