My teen son loves this coat. It keeps him warm, but is not bulky.

My grandson loves this jacket, he says; " it's warm and comfortable and the pockets are large enough to fit some toys." The quality and price is right!

I have a 10 year old, 5th grader and I purchased a size Large 14/16. The fit is perfect! He loves that it isn't bulky where he looks and feels like a fluffy marshmallow

This coat is thin enough for my son to comfortably run and play, but it is super warm. It's the perfect coat for PNW fall.

This product is light weight but warm. Perfect for the youngster who doesn't like bulky clothing. The green color is very nice.

I bought this jacket for one of my twins, it fits really well and should keep him warm this winter without all the bulk!

Nice coat but compared to other columbia products we have it seems to run smaller. Would have been nice if the pockets had zippers

12 year old son has worn it everyday since we got it. He was kinda outgrowing the kiddie style of his other coats. Not heaviest of coats but roomy enough for hoodie underneath and comfy enough to keep on while playing outside with friends.

My 8 year old grandson wanted a jacket like mine - with the shiny interior, less bulk, and the thumb holed wrist warmers. Like me, he is short and thick around the waist - so hard to fit since kids clothes do not come in a petite and husky sized clothes are hard to find. I tried this jacket for him, hoping that Columbia had cut the jacket a little boxier than other manufacturers. He likes it - could get it on (with no room for layers which was fine) and if he hiked it up in back when he sat down since yes it's too long. I left off the 5th star because the kid jacket does not include the wrist warmers. Happy with this purchase and other Columbia I have bought for myself: cut for regular people.

Great jacket! Not as warm as we'd hoped. Ordered for 12-y-o for cold Indiana winters. We ordered a new Interchange for him & 16-y-o sis got this because it's so packable and easy to wear in HS (where they don't have lockers!)

Love the colorway and lightweight feel of this coat. Wish it had zipper pockets and adjustable cuffs on the sleeves, otherwise a great everyday coat during the winter.

This runs a little small, but is a great product!

A great coat! Light weight but warm. The only part I don't like is there is no closure of the pockets. (Zipper/button)

Let me start by saying this is the fourth time I have purchased this same style/model of this coat. My children are outdoor kids and this coat is multipurpose and very durable. This coat provides warmth and comfort in all cold weather activities. I do like the most recent enhancement of the of the Omni-Heat but this version is missing the velcro adjustment on the crown of the hood. Overall a great coat for kids who love to be outside in cold weather.

My son usually wears a 3T in clothing but when this jacket was zipped, it was snug and there wasn't any room for extra layers. Also, the sleeve length is long but when he raised his arms, the jacket overall was too short. We ended up having to size up to a 5T/XXS for extra room (although it's a little too long now) but we rolled up the sleeves and there's room to grow! Over all, the jacket is comfy and thin enough to keep on while in his car seat.

Nice jacket my sone loves it. This jacket is warm and lightweight perfect to carry inside backpack on warm days. Recommend this jacket especially in Colorado serve for staying warm I. The cold weather.

I bought a 10-12 for my average sized 9 year old. The jacket definitely runs small but I'mhoping to get one more winter out of it. It's light , comfortable & warm.

The color is orange, not red as description says. Otherwise ok.

When this coat came in, I was so excited. I loved the colors and so did my son. It is very warm, without being too bulky. We live in KY, so we have only had a handful of days where he has had to wear this coat. Sadly, several of the teeth on the zipper have popped off already...causing the supper to come off when you try to sip up. So disappointed. I bought a size big enough to last him a couple of years...but now I already need to replace.

Fits OK, looks OK, but not a very warm jacket. My 8 year old complains of being cold when he’s wearing it and the temperature is ~35 F or below. If it’s breezy, he will complain of being cold even when he’s layered up underneath. But, you get what you pay for. Thankfully it’s been a mild winter or I’d have to buy a second jacket to keep him warm.

My son has a columbia coat size M that fits him nicely. However this jacket size L is way too small. It looks like a toddlers jacket.
