My son has worn this coat for many years in various sizes. Great in between weight for winter.

I bought this for my 6 year old son and I think it's going to be the perfect winter coat for him. It fits great and is warm without being bulky. He doesn't like wearing bulky jackets so this is perfect.

I wrote that they run a little large, which is probably true, but not too much. In any case, my kids love these jackets and it feels like they would almost start living in them, given the opportunity.

We purchased two of these jackets for our great-nephews (twins) who live in a cold, snowy midwestern state. We could not be happier with them, nor could their mom and dad! The size guide is so helpful - they were just the fit we wanted. Additionally, these jackets are super warm, but not as bulky as some...something that was important to dad for outdoor play/fun, and to mom who often has to deal with car seats and tighter spots! There is a nice color selection, and we also purchased matching fleece jackets, which were also a big hit! Can't say enough about Columbia quality and durability!

I bought this for my son it keeps him very warm and isn't bulky which is exactly what we were looking for.

This jacket is perfect for my 10 year old son who needs warmth for New England winters yet is comfortable and ,important for him, it is not bulky.

Lightweight but warm..unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size and have to send it back.

I bought this PoderLite Hooded Jacket for my son for a Winter trip to the Rockies. Temps were 10F-30F. Jacket kept him warm during long days outdoors. Worn with a sweaer and lite under layer. Very good and lightweight jacket for those conditions.

My son hates to wear coats during the winter because they are too bulky. This jacket is perfect because it is lightweight and thin but super warm with the Omni-heat lining. I highly recommend if you have a child that refuses to wear a jacket due to bulkiness.

My son needed a new jacket that he was able to play in! After trying several styles, we found this to be perfect for everyday play. It's stylish and warm and fits my tall, slim 5 year old great!

I bought these coats for my two boys who are 7 and 10. One in super blue, collegiate navy and one in collegiate Navy. These coats are awesome! They are not bulky so my kids can play freely but they keep them warm even in very cold weather. We live in Vail, Colorado and my boys have even worn these skiing! They never complain anymore about having to wear their coats which as a mom of boys is a huge win! The extra small fits my 7 year old perfect. He is a smaller 7, about 40 pounds and 43 inches tall. My 10 year old is smaller as well and the small fits him. He is 46" and 60lbs.

This coat is perfect for my toddler! It's not too bulky but very warm. He doesn't complain about wearing it at all!

We live in the mountains of PA and my youngest hates coats. He says they make him hot and don't fit in his locker. If you have a kid like my son, this is the code for you. Incredibly warm and stylish, my fashionista son loves the lining, this coat is light and rolls up tight. The collegiate navy with gold lining is gorgeous. We cannot be happier to have found a coat my son will actually wear without a battle. We have had some issues with Columbia zippers recently, so only time will tell, but it seems durable so far!

Love this coat so far! Looks sharp, lightweight but warm. My son is 8 and a little on the short side. I ordered him a 10/12 and he has room to grow without it swallowing him. Highly recommend!

Bought this jacket for my 12 yr old who wants warmth with a hood, but not bulk. This has been working great for the early arrival of winter here in the Chicago area when he is waiting for the bus and weekend fun.

Sizes and fit is perfect for my 3 yr old. He normally wears a 4t. The XS fits well with room for a second layer under and room to grow. Coat is not bulky which is a huge plus as my son does not like anything big and bulky. The coat not being bulky does not affect its warmth. My son seems to be pretty warm in it being outdoors for an extended period of time.

I love this jacket. It has a beautiful color of blue and it keeps you warm but not too warm.Plus the material is SUPER smooth. Just how I like it.

We only purchase Columbia winter coats for our kids. This is my favorite style. Quality is important since we will hand these down to a younger sibling and then a younger cousin!

I put in a box and wrapped for my grandson's birthday. All the adults and his sister are wearing Omni jackets. He will love it. Ask me again next week. I am sure he will be surprised. He is 11 and ordered a size 14/16.

I bought this for my 6 year old when the weather started getting colder. I bought an XS which is a little big on him but that was the plan. He loves it and wears it to school every day. It keeps him warm when it's freezing out in the morning, but it's light and easy to throw in his backpack when it warms up in the afternoon. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
