I haven't tested the fleece out in freezing temps, but it's been cold and so far it does the job! I have to wear a short sleeve shirt underneath just in case I get too warm wearing it.

These are all I wear during the winter in Ohio. Add a turtleneck and you are very cozy. I love my Ositos.

I have 3 of these jackets in different colors and I love them. Super warm but still lightweight, great for cool fall days or layering under a heavier coat when it's cold out. I've had my oldest one for 4-5 years now and it's still in great shape! I'm planning on getting another one for Christmas!

I love the silky fur feeling, and that it's not too heavy. I live in a cool area and wear this jacket nearly every day all year. Over some years now, I've bought many colors to coordinate with other clothes. Totally out of character for me to have so many, but... I do wear one every day. I think I have 10 now. I'm waiting for a dark chocolate brown; then my stable is complete. People often admire, and I've noticed a few friends now have their own; I take that as a compliment. I wear this for small chores in garden or woods. It launders very well. Practical, comfortable, good pockets. Haven't noticed any shedding. The only drawback I've noticed is that some tee shirts under this jacket tend to pill on lower sides.

Purchased the jacket in the color Urban Navy in an XS. I am 5'2 and thin but I was worried the XS would be too small but it fit perfectly, I'd say they run a little big even. This jacket is literally perfect for every day use when its cold in the office or at a restaurant or when its fall/winter. For the sale its absolutely worth it, the only difference between "last season" and "this season" is the color options so might as well save money and get one of the Osito jackets from last season.

I finally get the hype. I avoided purchasing a North Face fleece for many years because I couldn't justify the prices. I caught this on a clearance sale at Zappos for $50. Got the elephant gray. It's pretty. I feel like I am wearing a shorter version of my bathrobe and I don't want to take it off. I catch myself petting my sleeves. Do NOT put it into the dryer! I wash on cold and hang to dry and it is pristine. I purchased a size Small and I am an XS in tops. 5'3", short arms, size 32C, 120 lbs. I am asking for a second one for Christmas!

This is my first North Face fleece jacket purchase. I normally purchase Columbia fleece jackets. The size runs slightly narrower through the waist than Columbia, which I'm fine with. It makes you look a little slimmer - yes, while wearing a FLEECE. I normally buy a Medium, and the Medium in this jacket worked well. The material is very fuzzy and soft, like a stuffed animal. I washed in cold and hung dry. Looks good, but I would be hesitant to just toss this in the dryer. I really love that the back side of the jacket "dips" a little in the back to help cover your bum if you're wearing yoga pants. I feel like I will get a ton of use out of this jacket.

I'm just going to Say, NF is sooo much better quality , easier to clean and better overall than Patagonia's Los Gatos Vest and line , I have no idea how I'm going to bleach it without ruining it -

This is just a good jacket, Its perfect for fall/spring and great for under a coat in winter. I have long arms so north face jackets sleeves are always a little short but they are good enough. Don't expect to layer much under unless sizing up. I have three of these jackets now they are cute for around town and comfy for hiking. When it's colder I wear one nearly every day to and from the gym or yoga with just a sports bra under, I'm always comfy and warm since unlike other soft jackets the inside is the same softness! you really can't go wrong with this jacket.
