Honestly this is the worst quality north face coat I have ever owned. I wish I could return it but looks like I am beyond that date. The hood NEVER stays buttoned on. EVER. you move it falls off. You take your bag off your shoulder it falls off. Zippers are plastic and seem so cheap. Don’t recommend

I looked online for a more reasonably priced north face coat and I found one that seemed like something I would love. Unfortunately the color is not gray it's more like a very light green teal. I was very excited about having the scope and even when I put it on the color was just unlikable. I am not going to exchange the coat because it's already late it's here and I need a coat. The sad part was that my wonderful north face after many years, blew up in the washing machine with feathers everywhere. I decided to take my chances with the online store to buy and another Northface coat. It is the right length of the sleeves fit well but the color makes it very uncomfortable. Thank you for your time.

This is an expensive coat and the quality is extremely disappointing. The hood is attached with cheap plastic snaps. A purse strap or seatbelt touch it and it flies off. How is this coat meant to withstand even the slightest wind storm. Seriously, there is no way this coat was tested on a woman. So disappointed with this purchase.

I love the style of the jacket but it's too thin. If I want to stay warm in Michigan, I have to wear a thick sweatshirt underneath. The snaps on the hood pop off very easily. I've sewn the hood on so it doesn't fall off. For an expensive jacket I feel like I shouldn't have to alter it in anyway. Disappointed

It fits well. True to size- slightly larger than size. Warm enough for cool days, would need layers underneath to stand up to any sort of real winter. I think the 'Parka' classification is really not realistic. Now, for the problems: For the pricetag I would expect better craftmanship, the zipper is cheap and often misses starting at the bottom (double zipper). THE HOOD IS THE WORST. Cheap, terrible snaps, comes off ALL THE TIME- catch your purse on the hood comes undone, hang your coat up by the hood, too heavy, comes apart, I literally had to stitch the hood to the coat, ridiculous. The hood made me so mad that I had to come to North Face website and write this review. Overall, so poor it's putting me off the North Face brand in general.

I LOVED this jacket when I tried it on and was very excited to have finally purchased a good North Face winter coat. However, before I could even take the tags off I noticed the hood kept falling off. Can't hold the jacket by the hood, can't hang it by the hood, I cant even reach back to put the hood on when wearing it without the hood coming unsnapped. This is so disappointing as a decent hood is needed in the Maine winters. I even asked the salesmen why the hood was off each time I tried this coat on and he just said he had it aside. I wanted To love this coat but the hood snaps are just crafted terribly. I'll be driving 1hr to return this.

I was very excited to be wearing this coat as it kept me warm and was very stylish, but within my first year, I came across two major problems with the hood and the feathers. The hood has snaps that are very weak and loose so that when you simply pick up the coat the hood falls off with the slightest touch. Also, the seams of the coat on the outside seem to be weak too, they're are little feathers coming out of them and I'm afraid to pick them out and lose insulation. As this is a North Face coat I expected much better than what I got.

Got this as an early Christmas gift. Love the style and feel but the craftsmanship is bad. I have own many different brands puffer style coats this is the worst I have worn less than 3 times abs everything I wear the down feathers are coming out of the coat and seams. Extremely disappointed in quality for North Face I expected better

Bought it a few weeks ago, feathers are coming out. People know where I sit. Car seat full of feathers. Really disappointed.

Wish I never took the tags off I'd be returning it. Feathers everywhere and the hood is really bothering me. It will not stay done up

North Face is NOT standing behind this very poorly designed jacket. I just got off the phone with customer service and they said they can do nothing at this point other to have me send it in to them for warranty work and then they are not even sure how the issue will be resolved. The customer service person said they haven't had other complaints, but if you look at the reviews here, there are several of people who are also dissatisfied. I wish I had not spent my hard earned dollars on this poorly designed coat that I am now stuck with wearing. I expect a whole lot more from North Face products.

Really warm parka for Minnesota winter. It is quit bulky and makes you look like a pillsbury Dough boy, but when you want to be warm this fits the bill.

This coat exceeded my daughter's expectations. She's found the length allows her to maintain a warm core body temp.

You have to sew the hood on or you will lose it.

Warm, light and soft fabric. fit is good.
