Perfect lightweight down coat. It is both causal but professional enough to wear on any occasion. So far, it has kept me warm and cozy. I chose an XL and it’s roomy on me, but if I wanted to I could wear a fairly heavy sweater or jacket underneath. I wasn’t a fan of the fur, but it can easily be me moved. So far our weather hasnt gone below 19 degrees, but I anticipate this coat working wonderfully for many years.

This jacket is made for tall skinny women. I ordered the size I always normally get and the waist was up to my chest! And the arms were super long. Overall a very awkward fit. so if you are a short person, I do not recommend this jacket. Also the style and fabric are just boring.

Everything about this coat was great except it did not come in petite sizes. It seems to be the quality you would expect from Northface and I really wanted to keep it. But I am just shy of 5'2" and what would be the waistline on the average person hit me at the hips, making it a little snug. At this price I did not want to regret the purchase later so I had to send it back. I would recommend it to others who are even just slightly taller or more narrow in the hip area.

I have a North Face coat that I love, but needed something a bit warmer for really cold days in Dallas, TX. This coat fit that bill. I agree with other reviewers that the cut of the waist is a bit high, but I'm 5'8 so it worked for me. I ordered a size small since the fit was marked standard. My other NF coat is size medium, but it is a slim fit. For reference, I'm about 130 pounds and typically order size small in most things. I got the gray color and it is a nice dark shade so should wear well. Overall, I'm very pleased and it was on sale-score! :)

Very nice and comfortable,love that it’s waterproof but the same time looks professional to wear to work.

Too large and boxy so the styling was comprised. Quality and warmth are wonderful. Just wasn’t very attractive on.

Somehow the extra small still made me look like a linebacker. (For reference I am 5’3” and 112 lbs) The style is great, but the fit was not.

I own two of these coats in different colors and love them both. Practical and warm.

I'm excited for winter so I can wear this parka! The fit is perfect and I love the hood!

Absolutely love this jacket ! First off - it's actually the downtown parka (as another reviewer noted). That being said, I think it's the perfect jacket to span core winter + the random cold one-off days in the fall. It's well fitted around the waist (note, it does have a drawstring, but I like to leave it uncinched Bc I don't want it too fitted) but you can definitely still fit a layer underneath. Length does down 3/4 of my thigh, which is absolutely perfect. One stylistic feature I love is that the logo is black (on the black jacket), so it blends in and isn't very overt. For reference: 5'3" 125lbs - ordered small

warm and cuddly

This is a fantastic product. It is warm, stylish, and high-quality. I can't wait to wear it out to dinner/travel. The sleeves are a little long, though they can cover fingers and eliminate the need for gloves. The neck area is tight when the hood is down and when zipped up fully. However, the neck area is more spacious and covers the chin with the hood up. I will likely keep it not fully zipped with the hood down. Either way, the jacket covers up and protects the neck area sufficiently and eliminates the need for a scarf. Very well made!

I used it on a rainy day for an all day cruise to Tracy Arm, Alaska. Kept me warm and dry.

I bought this jacket in December and love it! It's very warm and I love the fake fur hood. It's great for everyday use. I ordered a large as I have broad shoulders. Otherwise the jacket fits great!

I just moved to Chicago after living in the South for years and was nervous about picking out the warmest coat i could findI really hate being coldand this did not disappoint! I survived the weeks of zero temperatures and a lot of snow very comfortably. Would definitely recommend!

Love this parka. It provides great warmth but doesn't make me sweat. Allowed me to sled with my kiddos all winter.

It's a terrific all around coat for going to school, work, weekends.
