Great jacket for winter! Very warm for snowy weather.

I love using my Parka during these cold winter NYC days.

This coat has been perfect for the cold, wet wintry weather this year. I've never felt cold! I've been able to withstand long playground visits, roll around in the snow, not entirely suffer through outdoor dining in NYC...totally worth the investment, even at full price! Would totally buy again.

Great for cold Minnesota winters!

I bought it for everyday use during the winter and it's been perfect. Warm and comfortable! I bought a size too big for me but I'm currently pregnant so I've grown into it.

Jacket is super warm and stylish. It is comfortable to wear when I am outside with school kids. I recommended this jacket to my friend too. I love this jacket.

Love the army green b/c it is a nice change from black and is not an off the wall color, still pretty neutral. And the green is on sale. Good fit.

First, this parka is actually the Women's Downtown Parka despite the name (Arctic Parka) on this listing. Both the tags and receipt confirm it is the Downtown Parka, not a previous version of the Arctic Parka. That being said the description of the item in the listing is perfectly accurate. I was surprised by how lightweight the parka felt, and yet warm! I like that the hood is fully removable (not just the fur), that it does not have Velcro closures (uses button snaps), and that the north face logo is not white unlike the Arctic Parka. It took a while to figure out how to cinch the waist and style it. Even cinched, it is bulkier than the new Arctic Parka (which I tried on in store). It attracts dog fur pretty easily, but so did the new Arctic and Defdown Parkas. This one (like the Defdown) at least doesn't have Velcro closures for the fur to get stuck in. It feels just as warm and is about as long as the new Arctic Parka, however, and was on sale for almost half the price so I'm pretty happy with it!

It was too roomy

It was pretty big so I sent it back. If I order it again I will have to get a medium. Very nice jacket though.

I live in Upstate NY. The temperature is constantly changing. This coat keeps me warm and toasty. Thank you northface for making an awesome piece.

This jacket was boxy and too heavy

This was way too much coat for me! It’s heavy and clunky to wear. It might work if you need to be outside in really cold weather. I sent it back.

Runs big - especially in the arms!

The jacket was big and not very flattering. Inside was warm and soft material. Returned to purchase a different style.

Did not find the product to be great. The size seems to be the issue for me as I'm short, the pockets came below my knees which was annoying. Had to return the order.

So disappointed!!! The descrIption says REMOVABLE hood and the hood is not removable al all. This is the one reason I got this jacket over other styles that I liked better, what a scam.
