I just got my pair of 669 after returning a larger size due to the reviews of its fit. I recorded my regular size 8 standard and they fit perfectly. They feel like a former pair I had that to me was the best N B. The 659 s trail , I like the way these fit true to my size 8. I went on the trail and it's like walking on air. I like these much better for comfort and fit than my last pair of NB 1350 I highly recommend them

This is one of my favorite style of athletic shoes made by New Balance; I like the color, the look and feel of the shoe. It has great support and works well not just for hiking in the mountains where I live, but cross training and walking when I am doing multiple activities. It's also a shoe that holds up well for the time that I wear it.

I use these shoes for walking. I walk every day for 3 miles, and they last a good long time.They are cushioned very well, very comfortable. Also true to size. This is my fourth pair, and will continue to buy this style. The brown looks like a pair of hiking boots, very nice looking. Recommended

Great shoes. I was able to go hiking after just a couple days of breaking them in walking around the house.

Comfort and fit are great, after i adjusted the tightness of the width of the shoes just right. They are lighter than my hightop hiking shoes, of course- yes still substantially more 'solid' than my new balance sneakers that i have always hiked in. So comfy i have worn them several times already all day- even when not hiking, just around the house. One concern is that my feet are a little warm, but i think i will get that figured out with experimenting with different kinds of socks. Good design!!

Fit well. Very sturdy. Can even run on the treadmill in them. Good for hiking. The soles are stiff but this is good for rocky terrain. Wish they came in more colors.

I just got my shoes and had to write a review. I am very happy with this shoe, it serves its purpose for me. I followed other reviews and ordered a half size up. I think that was good advice. It gives me extra room for my feet to swell during long walks. I got the shoe to be able to run on trails for the winter time. I feel that this is first and foremost a running shoe that looks like a hiking shoe. It is a narrow and long shoe to promote forward movement in running. It is lightweight to run, but has more stability in the sole. I look forward to much running this winter with this shoe!

I love going up to the mountains in Hawaii and go for a walk in the forest or to hike a mountain trail. These shoes are just perfect for me. The shoes cradle my feet in a solid foot bed which helps when I am going up and down hills. These shoes are very similar to a New Balance I had for years but this mopdel is as good as or better than my old shoes. Thanks so much New Balance.

I thought the fit was true to size. I have bought NB shoes for 30 years and always been satisfied with what I ordered for the price I paid.

I have some ankle and overall instability. After a major surgery, I have been working on balance, strength, and stability. I walk my 80 lb. Hound dog in parks and trails for an hour twice a day. These are working out great and now I will be off to bigger trails with friends. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2. I ordered a 9 1/2. Perfect with thicker socks.

These new shoes are the best for hiking ! Comfort is essential; these provide a cushioned sole and roomy toe box to allow for thicker socks. I would make the laces longer, but don't change the great neutral brown color !

I live in the mountains so these are wonderful for hiking and walking. Very comfortable!
