This jacket has many pockets which we love. The jacket held up in the zero temperature that we were in. It fits comfortable and is really warm. We will continue to but this brand for life. All their jackets are amazing and have life-time warranty.

I purchased this for my Dad. He is 87 years old, has arthritis & gets super cold. This Omni heat lined jacket is light weight and warm for him. It hasn't been cold enough for him to wear it all but once so far but I'm sure we will experience real winter days in January & February.

This jacket is so warm and has enough room to not feel stuffed in. The hood is gorgeous. The gray color goes well with everything. I also bought gloves to match.

I'm very happy with this jacket. I was not sure to buy it because I saw it cheaper compared with other brands, and since the winter here in Chicago is heavy, wanted to be sure that I'd be buying the right jacket. So I went to a store to try it before buying online, and then had no doubts about, it's very comfortable and warm. The only thing that runs a slightly big is the hood, but you can adjust the size, and I could find the best fir for me at the limit of the smaller adjustment option.

Bought for my husband and he loves it. He has a hard time finding things that give the width and the length he needs. This was perfect. He aso likes that it keeps him warm without being a too heavy.

Perfect parka for late fall and mild winter. Pretty warm and comfortable. In the same time doesn't seem heavy. Definetly windproof.

Enough warmth in the snowy conditions. It does not weigh a lot and also has comfortable thickness. I bought the small size and usually wear large size t-shirts

The coat is incredibly warm for how light it is. The only thing I would change if I could is make a second zipper inside that a Columbia down puffer or fleece jacket can zip into as an extra layer. I was comfortable down to about 20 but then I had to throw an extra sweatshirt on underneath it and it would have been nice to have it all work together better. The second thing I would change is make longer the back hood tab for adjusting how far the hood goes forward. I have it all the way forward and the fur still gets in my face sometimes. I know I can unzip the fur, but I want to keep it on, just not have it in my face.
Overall great coat, would purchase again, and I recommend to anyone.

Great quality, light weight Parka, with omni heat technology. Plenty pockets and adjustability. Would be a 5 star review (especially for the price) if it didn't run so large. Even with a fleece under it fits large.

Good looking coat and fits well. I'm never disappointed with Columbia's products. They've been with me in every adventure and all the good and bad days of my life for over 25 years.

Nice parka, warm and comfortable. At 6' tall, the sleeves fit perfectly, the body length is spot on and the 2-way zipper is a plus. The only downside that I can see is the lack of a waist draw string to cinch up the parka a bit.

Very good Parka for mild winter. Expected to feel warm at -10C but didn't. If you want something really warm, consider other options. Parka runs larger than the actual size.
Black color is not really black, more grayish color.

This coat looks and feels great. My one complaint is that the stitching is a weak single stitch. When tightening the elastic hood strings one of them popped out of the hole connecting it to the coat. Also, the bottom pockets only have one Velcro patch instead of 2. All my other coats have one on each corner of the pocket so I instinctively pulled up on both ends to get my gloves out. This ripped the stitching on the pocket's non-Velcro'd side. Thankfully my wife is an excellent seamstress and was able to repair both tears. If you plan on being very gentle with this coat everything should be fine.

Excellent garment. Better insulated than the Penns Creek parka. This is the Penns Creek II. Neither has a waist cinch . I have to buy a size larger to accomodate my neck and chest. Then the waist is too large. The only real complaint I have is that the outer shell is made of a material that gets stiff in the extreme cold. I am hoping this will get better. Warm to maybe zero W/O wind. Colder than that and I would wear my down parka. Mine has a REAL nice fur collar. Thanks Columbia!

I bought this coat for my father for Xmas because he wanted a versatile coat, aka a coat he could wear when plowing snow or when showing up to an event such as a party or going to eat. He absolutely loves this coat. The best function of the coat is the fur hoodie, you can be stylish by keeping the fur on for extra warmth especially when outside shoveling or you can be sleek by removing the fur and having just a hood for those more casual going out to eat days.
When He unzipped the cost to try it on, I noticed the inside is lined with what a space Mylar blanket looks like, that nice shiny silver extremely warm material, which was surprising because I didn't even know it came with that, so that was a plus. Which also means it's great for outside in all types of weather. This jacket checks every box on my Dads list. It's casual when casual is needed it's heavy duty when heavy duty weather jackets are needed.
This coat makes you beg for snow and cold weather just so you feel how cozy, and warm it keeps you.
I would of given the jacket 5 stars BUT my only gripe, not my dads gripes, is that the regular pockets below the flapped pockets are angled wrong. Not a deal breaker by any means but the pockets could use a little more angle to them.
Thank you Columbia. Great product as always
