This parka is perfect for what I need. The length, the overall fit, the hood size, front closure flap with snaps instead of velcro, zipper side hand pockets and the overall weight. I am a crossing guard in Wisconsin and need a warm, well made parka. My plan is to order a second coat.

I haven't been able to wear it on a truly bone-chilling cold day, but it kept me warm during a windy, chilly day. Fits well, true to size. It's not overly bulky but feel substantive enough for winter.

Love this parka and all its useful pockets, already wore it a few times and i did not notice the cold weather. It surprised me how light it is. I'm sold and Love it.

I ordered this coat for my husband the fit and the quality is perfect he loves it.

Great coat for the money and very warm. Columbia sizes tend to run a little larger than I'm used to, so I bought a small as I'm typically a medium and the fit is great

I purchased this coat for my boyfriend this past Christmas, and it has been a great coat so far! It has kept him nice and warm during our freezing winter. Definitely a great find- I would definitely purchase again.

This will be my "go to" car coat for midwestern winters! I really like the way the coat fits and the added need of a two zip front for making the car trips more comfortable. The hood is a plus for the windy days as well. I have also noticed that the coat is very comfortable with the usual temperature ranges we see during most winter days in the Midwest.

I had a hard time getting my son to wear a coat but he wears this one. It's warm and is great quality.

This is my first Winter Parka where I don't feel like or look like a polar bear. The weight on this, is very light,that it feels like a windbreaker. Easy to fold and put on. Also,very tosty. Dosen't get in my way in cramped areas.

My first order was too large, thankfully, the return process was quick and easy. This product really keeps me warm during the winter and it looks nicer than most other jacket.

I bought this jacket one size a little larger. I originally wear a small but since I am still growing, I got a medium. I got the coat and it is SOOOOO WARM!!!!!! Even though it is a little big because if the larger size, it is still very nice and a great product. I just can not imagine how warm I am going to be when I fit into the jacket perfectly. NO STORM WILL SLOW ME DOWN!!!!!

Wear it around 30-35 degrees F. With another base layer under and I get sometimes a bit too warm. It's really nice for what I wanted it for which was staying warm in the colder days. Fur thing doesn't come off unless I haven't figured it out, so it's weird if it rains it'll get all wet. Unzips from the bottom of you just want that part undone when sitting which I really like. Also got medium, I'm 5 8, 150 lbs. and it's just right I'd say.

a very good quality coat, very functional and warm

Received this coat just in time for a January blast of cold, slush and snow in Chicago. Jacket keeps you warm in subzero temperatures. Detachable hood is a good feature for days that are not as cold. Lots of pockets to store hat and gloves, etc. The zipper sometimes catches when zipping up, which is a little concerning. I've had to send back two jackets the last two years due to zipper issues so I'm hoping the same doesn't happen with this jacket. Overall, I'm very happy with this jacket.

Love the size and fit of this parka jacket. I truly stay warm in cold conditions. I definitely recommend this product to anybody.

I have worn the jacket in the single digits and has been warm so far.

I bought this coat for my son for Christmas. He says it is comfortable and warm, has a lot of pockets for storing his phone and keys, etc. It is generous in size, so if you are in between sizes, I would recommend ordering a size smaller. I have found that Columbia quality is very good; hopefully, that trend will continue with this jacket as well.

I love this coat. It was just what I was looking for. My Lands End heavy winter jacket of about 11 yrs is starting to show wear. It's being retired to snow shoveling detail. This new Columbia jacket is so nice. It's been freezing and windy this week and it is just what the doctor ordered. The hood is a little too large but I'll make it work.

My husband loves this jacket that I purchased as a gift. Very warm and holds up well to Boston winter weather.
