This is the warmest, most comfortable coat I have ever worn. Love the ribbed cuffs under the sleeves, the large pockets and the insulated hood. Only downside is that it can get too warm if the temps go into the 40s. I usually just wear a t-shirt under if I'll be doing any activity like shoveling snow

Perfect fit. Purchased this coat for my teenage son. Looks great and he loves it because he looks cool and he is warm. I purchased it at a sale price and applied a coupon I received from Zappos which made my purchase amazing.

This is a great coat and looks great. It's very warm even in single digit temps while standing on a frozen lake; I've tried. It was a few inches longer longer than I initially envisioned, but it turns out I like that it covers my rear a bit more. One disclaimer: it can be tricky to wear with bulkier gloves due to the sleave cuffs. That can get annoying, but otherwise a really good coat.

jacket is large but nice - hoping zipper doesnt break

I bought this for my husband to use as a storm coat when it snows hard. It fits him well. He especially wanted the parka length that this has. nice coat.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. Has a high end look but also functional. I have worn it on an evening out and while shoveling snow. Kept me warm in sub 10 temps with 20+ mile per hour winds. Also, get loads of compliments. Fit wise, I border between Medium/Large and in a medium I still have plenty of room.

I purchased this coat because of the style. It is honestly the best coat I've ever had. Extremely comfortable and not bulky at all. Sizing runs true I ordered a large I would not order larger than your normal size you wear. Definitely keeps the cold out and the warmth in! I love it!

Be sure to size down! My husband wears a medium in shirts but he was swimming in the size medium version of this coat. Small fits perfect! He loves it, very warm. Zappos was very easy to work with when it came time to exchange them.

Bought for college son, who says it's very warm, well-made, and smooth silver lining makes it easy to put on. He also likes the waterproof feature (and demonstrated it under the faucet!).

This is my second Rugged Path Parka from Columbia. I have the blue one but I liked it so much I had to get a black one too. It's very warm during cold winter days. Vest pocket is very handy for keeping valuables. This is a great parka!

I purchased this Fantastic jacket for my husband, who was previously wearing a Columbia jacket of mine for about 4-5 years now. My poor jacket is low hanging up and retired. I wish I could get it refurbished. Perhaps something COLUMBIA should look into doing for customers too. Anyway, he loves his new jacket so much and wears it to work & going out for the day, he doesn't complain about the cold anymore. It does runa little big, but you can easily layer up and feel comfortable.

I call my husband Mr. Phoenix as he is always cold. We grew up in Wisconsin and yet he is always cold. This year we purchased this coat for him and he loves the Omni-Heat liner. We have multiple items with the Omni -Heat technology and I won't buy anything else for the midwest winters as it gives you warmth and wind protection with out being bulky. The lows have been -25 here and he is happy with the coat. We read about the zipper issues and he did have problems with the zipper the first few times he wore it, but it has been broken in and works fine.

Reflecting interior of parka makes it very easy to put on and remove the parka. Very warm instantly and wind proof. Adjustments on hood work very well.
