I needed something comfortable and fashionable for my new office job. These booties are much cuter than the original clogs but still have good support. They run big so I ordered a full size down. They are tricky to get on even with the side zipper. The material looks like it will scuff easily. They have a strong leather smell that airs out in a day or two. I normally wear black but in person the black looks like clown shoes so I got taupe instead! Overall happy with my investment.

I am really looking forward to wearing these boots. The initial walk around the house was great! Great toe room and beautiful color. I also bought them in black! Have been looking awhile for soft boots with great arch support and wide toe base.

Not the Dansko clogs I've lived in for th he past 20 plus years. The soles are hard plastic, not rubber and there is no arch support whatsoever. Patent pending on the new sole. Say it isn't so Dansko! I hope you didn't do this to all your clogs!

I have tried and sent back about 10 pairs of shoes in the last month (Thank you, Zappos!) and these are the only pair that do not agitate my plantar fasciitis. At first, I was concerned about the zipper, which hits at my ankle bone, but after a few wears around the house, and unzipping ever so slightly, that problem was gone. And they are really cute. They do not look as bulky as they appear and are much trendier than traditional Dansko clogs.

These feel amazing!! So comfy and really cute. I think they are more comfy than the Professionals and lower (which I like!) than the clogs. The zipper makes it so easy to get them on and off. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 and the 39 fits perfectly. Great shoe.

I ordered one size down upon Zappo’s advice. I’m a true 9 and got a 39. They were the perfect length, width, arch in the right place, and they looked great. I danced around in them and wasn’t even aware I had them on. Felt great. However, the left one started rubbing on my ankle—- I wasn’t sure if it could be remedied but didn’t want to take a chance. So close to perfection, but no cigar.

Great fit. I’m a solid 9. I ordered the 39 and it fit very well, with wiggle room. Large toe box. Very comfortable. Sturdy. The overall style looked a touch too wide and round for me personally, (even though I prefer a round toe). I also ordered the taupe color and thought the black looked much nicer on. Comfortable right out of the box!

I wear 7.5 size shoe, regular width. Based on the size chart, I ordered size 38. They were too big, so I returned them for 37s, and those were still too big, so I returned those for 36s, which are just right. Very comfy and have received lots of compliments, but they run big!

I returned the brown and got the black which seems to be a slightly bit larger at the opening so the ankle is not an issue. They are very comfortable with med. socks and have enough toe room. Heel height is good and they don't slip at all. I am keeping them although they are outside airing out as they have such a strong smell.

I live in these shoes! I am an Interior Designer and spend a good deal of my day on my feet either at my clients home's or shopping for decor. I can wear these all day and still keep them on at the end of the day when standing making dinner at home. I have gotten so many compliments on them and always get asked, "who makes those cute booties," Dansko, of course!

These shoes are worth the price (I know it is an investment!); great quality - structure and style. I ordered the size 38 - My left foot is an 8 and my right foot a 7.5. I have a hard time trying to find shoes that are just right. I think these are more along the size 8. I can walk and stand in these all day and my feet are happy. I ordered the chocolate color which looks great with jeans. All and all - I highly recommend these and will be buying more in the future.

I am a size 40 in the traditional Dansko clog and I'm a 40 in the Barbara, too. They didn't run large for my feet. The odor went away after I aired them out for couple of hours. I just ordered the black which will be my second pair of this style.

This boot is relatively easy to get on with the side zipper, it is comfortable except that the top front of the boot cuts into my leg-- it would have been better had they had some gussets of some sort to allow it to "give"..

I'm obsessed with these boots. I wear them nearly every day to my office job and just out and about. I got the taupe color and it looks nice with everything from slacks to jeans to dresses. These have the comfort and arch support of traditional clogs but look more stylish. The toe box is nice and roomy and the heal doesn't slide around too much. I've had recurring plantar fasciatis when I don't wear shoes with proper arch support and my arches feel great in these. I also have a high instep and all of the other more stylish, non-clog Danskos I've tried are too tight on my instep, but these leave plenty of room and aren't snug at all. Like others have said, they take a little effort to put on but it's pretty quick and easy once I got used to it.

So in love with these bootie type shoes! Dansko does not disappoint here. I wear a 39 in the professional clogs and a 39 in this style fit me perfectly as well. The one thing I wasn't expecting that is a great bonus is that this sole seems to be a bit more flexible than the regular clog soles which amps the comfort factor up even more! I am going back for at least one other color...I got the burnished taupe and it will go with EVERYTHING!

Fit like a classic Dansko which delighted me. Some of the new Dansko styles in the last few years have gotten more narrow. This was a great fit. However they are a little difficult getting into. But it is worth the initial struggle. It might get better with more aware. I still love them

I work in retail and am on my feet for 8 or more hours. These are cute and comfy!

I wear a 40 in the clog but the 39 fits better in this bootie. The bootie is a bit harder to get on but not that different from others I have had and not a deterrent. I think it is important to remember that these sort of mold to your feet as you wear them. I've had mine on for just a few hours and already I feel like they are molding to my foot. I stand all day to teach and cannot handle a heel. These give the look of a heal but are so comfortable and supportive. As a physical therapist I would say these get a green light!

Super comfortable right out of the box...went to a concert and was on my feet for four hours on concrete with zero knee or lower back pain. While the boots have the Dansko look (kinda clunky) they are the tiniest bit sleeker in appearance though not in the fit which is the wider toe box we all love Dansko for. As others have said, it's a little wonky getting them on if you're trying to just step in and go. Use your hand to hold the back of the boot and it's just fine.

Had to return these. Beautiful booties but too wide and too much room in them which is consistent w Dansko regular width shoes. They should consider making these in narrow like they do some pf the clogs.

When I first opened the box and tried them on, I was about to send them back- they weren't as stylish as I was hoping for. Then I walked around in them a minute and I am keeping them. They do sort of look like clog boots and are the kind of boots that you can wear socks with (not what I was looking for but now I'm glad to have them) BUT they are the most comfortable shoes possible. I work on my feet most of the day and these are supportive and springy-feeling. They're not ugly, they do have a certain style, but most importantly, they are perfect for walking & working in.

I have plantar fasciitis and need supportive shoes while on my feet at work. These are cute and comfortable. They do not have a removable insole so my insert doesn’t fit but they have enough support on their own. I wear a 9.5 and the 39 is a perfect fit (sized down from my usual 40). I like the lower height of these and tend to wear them nearly everyday.

Perfect casual boot for work. Light on your feet. Two changes - I would add fur or some sort of comfort lining and subtract is the brown sole (make it black). Excellent choice. You won’t be disappointed.

These are truly amazing! I love the comfort and the look. I wasn’t a fan of their clogs but they got it right with the clog/boot.

Fantastic! I am a teacher and on my feet ALL day and even running at times. I have also developed plantar fasciitis over the past couple months that has been debilitating. I decided to invest in some good shoes and these did it! After weeks of wearing them my plantar fasciitis has improved remarkably. I wear them comfortably all day at work and use them for city walking too. I loved them so much I bought a second pair in another color. I found the fit/size to be right on, did not have trouble getting my feet into them, and no rubbing points (ie ankles). I have not bought Danksos in years and these absolutely brought me back to the brand. PS they are cute and I get compliments on them often.
