Bought this for my daughter as a ski base layer. It's perfect for days on the mountain warm or cold. Washes well too!

I love the colors and patterns for this line. Not only do they feel functional and warm but cute too

I'm 5'6" and weight 119 lbs (for a fact). I wear a Small in base layer tops (for certain- unless it's the Black. The Black base layer tops are cut too tightly- just look at the video of the model wearing them and compare to the other colors, and you'll see what I mean. I tried them once and found that to be true. The Charcoal is truer to size and roomier. So, unless you absolutely NEED the Black, I would just order the Charcoal if you are so inclined for dark colors.) For bottoms though- I find that the Mediums are more comfortable because the waist band is a bit roomier. They do shrink (very nominally) in the first couple of washes (I absolutely do not put them in the dryer, nor do I recommend it), so just order the Medium for the bottom base layer if you want comfort unless you are an absolute 105 lb stick figure.)

This is my go-to pajama bottom. It's soft, warm, elegant and fits perfectly. LOVE it!

Great base layer for skiing and very comfortable. Breathable and doesn't look like a base layer so easy to go somewhere after skiing! Went skiing in lower than -20 degree Celsius weather and had these bottoms and snow pants and wasn't cold.

Just moved from Texas to Missouri. I've already worn the Classic Base layer bottom. I expect to get a lot of wear and warmth. Durable and cozy warm!

I bought these to wear under snow pants for a trip to Banff. They did not disappoint! I also ended up wearing them in the hotel room in lieu of sweat pants. They are very silky soft and comfortable.

I wear these in the winter as a base layer when I am outside hiking, walking or in and out. I really like this product.

these are so much softer than I expected. I love that they offer free returns because I wasn't sure of my size.

I love the durability and warmth of Smartwool and will keep buying this base layer bottom even though I wish the legs were longer for us tall humans, and that that the waistband were taller, more like lay-flat yoga pants that have a 5 to 6 inch tall waistband. This would make it possible for the back of the waist to sit in a more comfortable position, without it dipping down to let in a cold breeze! That said, I have tried others, but Smarwool base layer bottoms are STILL the best quality for warmth and durability. They last and last and last. Plus they are warm no matter what the temp! I even wear them to bed on cold nights. I wear a medium in almost every other legging or yoga pant, but Smartwool has always seemed to run small. I wear a large for this base layer bottom.

I wore these repeatedly on a 5 day trip to Banff National Park in December. They were warm, comfy and cozy. I did not take sweatpants to keep my luggage less bulky, so I ended up wearing them both under my snow pants, and also in the room instead of sweats. They are super soft and comfy!

My wife and I love smart wool socks. The past two Christmas seasons, I have ventured into Smartwool active wear, like these under layers for the cold winter months. Like their summer wear, they do not disappoint

Not only are these warm, but they are so comfortable. I hate the ones that have a tight elastic waistband. These are just perfect around the stomach and you forget you're even wearing them. So soft, not bulky, perfect even under tight jeans. Love love love!!

I absolutely love this thermal set! It's incredibly soft, warm, and comfortable. It feels light on the skin but keeps you perfectly cozy even on the coldest days. The quality is excellent, the fit is flattering, and it doesn't feel bulky under clothes. Highly recommend!

I work and sleep outside 5 days a week year round. I bought this a few weeks ago as an under layer and it's been great. Keeps me warm in cold weather and as the day warms up is breathable and not too sweaty. I originally bought a large since I was right between the med/large sizing. They were a little baggy so I returned them and bought medium, which are a little short but still work fine. I'm 5'9". The customer service was satisfactory and the return process was simple.
