These are nice except for the waistband. It is SO tight! Feels like unnecessary, super-strength elastic! I don't feel great after a couple hours of wear.

This was a gift to our daughter who lives in NYC. She typically has worn your merino base layer bottom for a base layer while skiing. However, the Twilight Blue Heather color is pretty enough to wear under a skirt with boots!

This one saved me. Running in the 30F (below zero C) and it's breathable but not cold. True magic. None of my other gear was as efficient. Thank you

I live on the north coast of the Pacific Northwest and smart wool fits the bill to keep me warm, especially the base layers!

It is so refreshing to find a truly high quality product - well designed, well made. I want them to last so I have been line drying them.

I love this baselayer bottom! Living in Southeastern Pennsylvania the winter weather is often cold and windy, but this baselayer keeps me nice and warm during my morning walks with the dog.

I am 5'4" and 120 lbs/short torso. The Medium first perfectly. I have relatively long legs and I needed the extra length of the Medium. I had ordered a Small and it fit fine but the length was too short. This material isn't itchy and fits fine under my slim line jeans.

I wear these base layers every day when I am in the field under my waders. They keep me warm and don't make me smell I would definitely buy them again.

I wanted to love these tights. I was so sure that I would so I ordered 2 pairs to wear under some long sleeve winter dresses. I expected a high waist fit but they were like a pair of low rise jeans. This gave me a muffin top and pinched my waist. No matter what I did I was not able to hike them up to "hold" my belly in which is what makes me most comfortable. The legs were very baggy as well (I bought a size Small) so it let air into the ankles/calves which defeats the purpose of staying warm/having wool next to the skin. Unfortunately just not a good fit for me. Please make a high waist/large waistband version like most modern workout tights; I assure you most women want this!

I love these pants! So warm and soft and comfy! Wish they weren't so expensive because I would buy more. You definitely get what you pay for.

I am a little disappointed that these are not more substantial. They get baggy in the knees pretty quickly. I would definitely not try to wear these as leggings. I'd say they are a little on the light side in terms of warmth.

One of my indispensable go-to garments in the winter, as a base layer for outdoor sports, pajamas in the tent, or lounging around the house. My oldest pair dates back to 2009 and has held up really well, although the fabric is finally thinning. One of the greatest things about these is that they don't get too uncomfortable in case it's warmer than expected. Also, the waistband is mercifully not too tight, yet keeps its elasticity. I think they like to not go in the dryer, although they tolerate it if need be.
