Easy to move, breathable and a great layering piece. I bought the pink and red set. It's adorable and happy with the purchase!

I'm a skier and love how lightweight these base layers are, but warm! So very comfortable and the color choices are great. Absolutely recommend!

I like the product and I have numerous tops socks, and bottoms and I couldn't live warm enough without them. Had them for years and if a snag one I use embroidery floss and needle to quickly stitch it up. No worries. Any color and shape and my repairs are admired by many. My last product was a pair of women's thermal bottoms XL to replace one that the elastic in the waist had died. Kind of you to replace it but they were muck bigger esp the waist so I gifted them to a good friend with more girth than I. Win win. Love smartwool!

These fit great, look great, and feel great. I sometimes struggle to find wool clothing, especially base layers that aren't itchy or slightly uncomfortable but these are perfect. I bought these as a set with the Women's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer Crew and I'm very pleased. Barely itchy at all and are substantial enough to keep me warm but thin enough to fit underneath other clothing (like any good base layer should). While I hesitant due to the price, I can confidently say these were worth my money.

My climate is moderate mostly but I was going north for some eagle watching in February. When I saw my first nest, I could not stay out of the car long because of the biting wind off the water. After checking into my cabin and adding my Thermal Merino Base Layer Bottom that fit true to size, I was able to stand the windy cold as long as I wanted. I was toasty warm and very comfortable. They have washed well and held up.

Once it is worn more than once, it stretches and sags. I had to wash in hot water and dry it in the dryer to get it to come back to its original form. Order 1 size down.

I use this as my layer under ski clothes and I'm never cold. They are so comfortable and fit true to size.

I got this in black and in a large size even though I usually take small or medium because I am liking a loose fit. They are comfortable indoors and also under pants or skirts in the current Eastern cold snap. Very soft.

I purchased these for a winter holiday. They arrived shortly after I ordered, so I was able to try them while lounging at home. They are completely cozy and not too hot in our tropical climate. Now I am on holiday in Northern Japan where the snow is deep, the wind chill is well below freezing and these leggings keep me comfortable and warm. I am so thankful to have these versatile and comfortable leggings!

Great product for the price. Wearing mine now and its cold out. They are so comfy I do not know they are on. Perfect layer for winter . I plan on buying a second pair in the future. Honestly I could live in wool. I have several pair of Smartwool socks and some long sleeve tops. They are all my "go to" garments.

I needed a very warm base layer for an upcoming trip and since I've been pleased with Smartwool socks, I decided to try the merino base layers even though I'm exceedingly sensitive to wool. I recently wore these bottoms (and the top) underneath fleece pants while exercising outdoors on a single-digit temperature day to test them out. They were very comfortable (not at all restricting), didn't cause itching and kept me warm. I typically wear size 2 pants and the XS fit well. They're snug but I want a close fit since I'm wearing them underneath other pants. Having said that, they're very attractive and not too tight, so I can wear them alone if I choose. Very satisfied!

Great base layer to put under jeans or sweats. A little itchy, but worth some discomfort for the warmth!

These were too big for me! Admittedly I was in between sizes and bought the size up. The waist band was fine and I appreciate that it is on the wider side but there was a lot of room in the hip area. I have big thighs so it fit better there and there was just a ton of room in the crotch which made it look weird at least on me. But I like the fabric and bought in a different size hoping they lay better! Final note- I wish there wasn't a very-unflattering seam right down the crotch but I know this is a problem with nearly all tights, not just these!

This medium is a lot larger than last year's medium and the fabric is a lot heavier. Still works though.

Fit is very good, was looking for a companion lower set to go with my 1/4 zip top. Construction is top quality and can be layered for additional warmth.
