LOVE the Smartwool brand. I have at least a dozen pair of their socks as well.

I love how soft the fabric is, making them so comfortable and cozy. I do wish that the bottom was a little looser so I could pull them up above my ski boots.

Purchased these for Antarctica trip. Served as a warm base layer. Quality and comfort would vastly improve with a higher waistline similar to yoga leggings. The current waistline sits at hip line or below. Will not repurchase without this design upgrade.

I bought these to wear under my jeans in winter but ended up wearing them as pajamas too since they were so comfy and the perfect weight. I predict another pair will find their way home to me this season.

My apartment is always cold so I wear the smart wool garments day and night as a base layer. Really helpful on days I must get out on local errands since I don't drive.

I've been wearing these merino bottoms every day because of the cold and only took them off to wash. They're just awesome!

Product is good, I required customer service after my purchase though and it is essentially non existent so you better hope you get the exact right item and do not require any help.

It's the medium weight that I love. It's warm enough, but not too bulky. I've loved the evolution of the years. This is perfect.

I love the durability and warmth of Smartwool and will keep buying this base layer bottom even though I wish the legs were longer for us tall humans, and that that the waistband were taller, more like lay-flat yoga pants that have a 5 to 6 inch tall waistband. This would make it possible for the back of the waist to sit in a more comfortable position, without it dipping down to let in a cold breeze! That said, I have tried others, but Smarwool base layer bottoms are STILL the best quality for warmth and durability. They last and last and last. Plus they are warm no matter what the temp! I even wear them to bed on cold nights.I wear a medium in almost every other legging or yoga pant, but Smartwool has always seemed to run small. I wear a large for this base layer bottom.

I love these leggings as a base layer under my pants in the winter. I just wish they were thicker.

Living in Alaska for 50+ years had many "long johns" and these are THE BEST. Fit great under clothing

I wear merino tops every time I ski. I wear it all around in day to day life. Great for camping and riverside.

These are just like all of the Smartwool I own - perfectly comfortable and warm. I love them! I started with a pair of socks and now I'm a customer for life.

I wore it right out of the box on a cold day. It was comfortable and fit so well. It has the right amount of stretch and is 100% merino wool, what is this sorcery.

Paired with the patterned base layer top, I'm wearing it lounging around after the Thanksgiving holiday. Best at home casual outfit of the season!

Wool base layer is just about the only fabric that is breathable and warm enough for outdoor winters in Illinois/NW Indiana. For the hands and feet there's the trusty hot hands.

I love this base layer for sleeping in, as well as for under pants/skirts in the winter. High quality fabric and construction.

love these pants and Smartwool's thermals in general. My only complaint about these leggings is I wish the wait was a bit higher- this is more of a preference than a flaw though. I like wearing these for active exercise and feel lil they aren't going to stay in place well without a higher waist. Otherwise I love them! Very comfortable and warm, not itchy at all, beautiful fabric.

Solid product. They stopped listing g/sqft of material so its tough to compare to other brands.
