Great jacket with so many functions! This jacket is basically a 3 in 1 which is awesome for the price. Each piece is made with quality. It's a great travel jacket since you can get a lot of styles in one coat. You basically get a rain coat, a sleek puffer jacket, and a winter coat all in one. I love the grey color, it's classy and cool. We love Columbia in our household. The products are made well and stylish, same quality as north face or Patagonia but half the price. Highly suggest this jacket. My husband is 6'3" and ~190#. Ordered him a medium and the fit is perfect.

I think this is a great jacket for cold weather and enjoy all of the pockets. I'm six feet two inches and weigh 200 pounds. I bought a XXL and am happy with my decision. The jacket is a little big on me, but I don't have to worry about stretching or tearing it either.

Amazing fit and great warmth! Was the perfect choice for a ski weekend trip in Colorado. Omni best tech does the trick in the cold slopes. Size M was perfect for a 6ft 180lb. Very happy with the purchase.

Great snow jacket. The insulated layer keeps me plenty warm on cool mountain days, and the interchangeable feature will come in handy when spring rolls around and the insulation isn't needed. There are plenty of pockets for extra gear to carry. If needed the hood can be pulled over a helmet for extra powder and rainy weather protection. I initially ordered the XL as I normally wear XL shirts and sweatshirts but the XL in this size was HUGE. Large fits me just right, and I'm 5'11 195lbs. Would definitely recommend this jacket

I originally ordered a large as I have a very similar Columbia jacket in large. However, once I received it the jacket was too big for me. I returned the large and got medium. It's perfectly! I am 6'3", thin build. The jacket fits well with room for layers underneath. Perfect sleeve length even with my long arms.

That's jackets are great! We supply them to our shipping and receiving department as part of their uniforms. They spend cold days outside driving hi-los and these jackets keep them warm and dry! They're also really durable.

I live in the northern rockies of Colorado and wore out the same jacket over the course of 10+ years, I looked at many replacement jackets but for the quality and value of the Whiribird I decided to purchase another one. This thing is boom proof to the cold when you layer up!

I bought the red Jacket. The white zipper and the grey around the neck are the only non-red items. So I wanted the white zipper. All other jackets are truly one color. The pockets are huge. Needed for skiing. Because of the inner and outer jacket, you have two-three layers of pockets. i.e., a lot. All pockets are big, even the breast pocket (outer layer only) The two layers of jackets make the outer layer by itself run a bit big. But not too bad. I have skied half my days in the outer layer only. Breaks the wind and keeps out the moisture great. The attached hood is not my favorite. I would like it detachable. However, there is a velcro strap on the hood and by carefully folding the hood and using the velcro strip and the coats hook string, you can make it into an near invisible (normal) collar. I bought it later in the season and for those reduced prices it is very good value for money. The cloth looks nice and nonplasticy (not like a rain jacket). But I had no problems with the outer shell being water proof despite having a couple of snow days and falling into the deep snow

I have worn this coat several times on days with temps in the 15-20 range, snow or sleet, and I have stayed warm and dry. The hood is useful for the precipitation, and the metallic lining (Omni-heat or whatever they call it) provides great insulation. I like that I can take out the inner lining easily with a zipper, and it could be a good rain jacket on a day in the 40s. The fit was good, and I like the various pockets and other features. My only complaint is that the main zipper is a bit small for a winter coat with two layers, and it is the only place where it felt like they were cheap in their approach. I have to take off my gloves to use the zipper, and sometimes it is tough to get lined up right as you are walking out the door. Still, the overall coat works really well, and it feels like a good value for the money.

Great quality jacket and very versatile. This jacket checks many boxes for how it can be used and costs far less than other brands. Way to go Columbia!

I am generally a fan of things that have more than one use, and this jacket is that! On cold overcast, or snowy, days, only need a base layer and this jacket. For spring conditions, a T-shirt and just the shell (with the mid-layer removed).

Great jacket! Light but very warm. Inner jacket alone kept me warm walking with my dog at 5 degrees with t-shirt and base layer. With outer jacket, I was almost hot at same temperature. Exactly what I needed/wanted.

Bought this for my boyfriend, he loves it. Very warm! I have a similar woman's coat, in love with them!
