Fits perfect as usual. This is my fifth Columbia jacket and it works well as usual. The construction is excellant and the price was fair. I will always look to Columbia first when I am looking for winter wear. The jackets are always warm and repel water well. I bought most of my Christmas gifts from the Columbia website.

Perfect for my husband. Local boy from Maui. Its important when leaving the islands and going into cold weather he is comfortable. The jacket was perfect. He loved the camouflage print. He only needed to use the inner jacket for the weather that never went above 50 degrees. It kept him warm. He usually uses a large so I got him a large. Its a little bigger but perfect for layering. He could use a sweater underneath as well as a thin long sleeve if he needed it. Shipping was fast. Bought on a Tuesday and it came in the following Monday. We approve of this jacket.

Just as warm as the fleece once without the worry of overheating.

This coat/jacket has been exactly what I was looking for. When temperatures have been 0-10 (Fahrenheit) and breezy it has kept me warm. When it's about 30 degrees I take the liner jacket out because it's too warm when walking for more than twenty minutes. I have not had the opportunity to test waterproof ability although the omnitech material definitely keeps the wind out. The liner jacket by itself is also nice when the temperature is around 30-40 and walking.
This the third Whirlibird I purchased this winter. I bought one for my granddaughter who lives in chilly and windy Flagstaff and my wife liked it so much I bought her one which she has worn comfortably almost every day since with temperatures down around -15 to over 40 and she makes use of all 3 variations of it. We all decided going one size up (I am 6'0 and 200) and the large for me just a little too small around the shoulder and the ladies both around 5'4" and 135 pounds each normally wear medium but decided they were too snug around the shoulder/chest area.

This jacket system is just what I was looking for. The zippers under the arm are a game changer in warm weather. The reflective lining offers great warmth. The Camo is muted which I like. Ready for my Alaskan cruise.

Worth every penny if you're a person who goes out a lot. Keeps you warm and ridiculously dry. Love that it's a 2 in 1 jacket and can interchange between both, or wear one or the other.

I've been using Columbia products for over 20 years and very satisfied with the quality on jackets, ski pants winter boots and hiking shoes. All items have performed without disappointment. My recent purchase of the Whirlibird IV Interchange Jacket will replace a retiring a favorite Columbia 3 in 1 jacket. Size Large is perfect to wear as is or ample room for additional layer with a fleece jacket. The Whirlbird is exactly what Ive been looking for in a classic looking black with bight color combination. My Columbia jacket will be used year round from outdoor snow activities to staying warm at ice rinks. I'm at ice rinks 4-5 days a week for my daughter's travel ice hockey practices and games.

My hubby loves it! He likes the versatility of the 3 in 1. Columbia is a great price for the quality. Loved that the shell and inner layer were different colors.

I really enjoy this high quality jacket. Plenary of pockets. It keeps you warm inside and keeps the elements out.
Genius design allowing you to unzip the inside for an additional jacket during the transition from winter to spring.

Bought this jacket for a skiing trip out in Jackson Hole Wyoming and it performed amazingly. It kept me warm and dry even in the single digit temperatures at the peak while providing plenty of movement to ski comfortably. If I ever got too warm taking off the shell and wearing just the inner layer was very easy. High quality all around jacket for a great price, totally recommend!

"model" is 5'7", 183lbs. As you can see, the large was quite poofy and oversized. I order and wear large items in most coats and shirts due to being more mesoporph. The medium in this jacket fits perfect. Sleeves are perfect length (I have longer arms, shorter torso).
Quality of the jacket in Omni-heat is fantastic. Cold German bike commuting every single day from single digits to freezing rain; very repellent and wind resistant. Fabric is much tougher than some of the down coats and "sweaters" out there. Not quite as compressible of a jacket, but I prefer a tougher shell than something that rips easily. Oh, and I took a hard bike wreck, broke a helmet, tore both gloves and nothing happend to the coat. I would prefer inside pockets (there are none) but I can deal with it.

Just received jacket today. It looks as pictured and seems to be good quality. It fits well but may run a little large. Not sure how warm it is yet. Time will tell.

I recently moved from Florida to Maine. It's been 9 years since I was skiing so I needed a new ski jacket. I decided on this 3-in-1 and it's better than expected. I've been wearing the inner layer every day to work as it's quite warm by itself. When the rain or snow is falling, I wear the shell either with the inner layer for max warmth or without it when I just need a little protection from the wet. I did go skiing with it and once the day warmed up, being able to remove that inner layer and open the pit zips were perfect for regulating my heat. I love all the pockets for all my things. Large enough to hold anything I want to put in there, even large gloves, without looking bulky.
