Great flexible jacket for all kinds of weather. My son loves the look and is currently wearing the inner liner but it will be perfect for snowboarding too. His brother likes wearing just the shell. very affordable.

Overal happy with the jacket. Haven't had it long so can't comment on durability but the feel and look of the jacket and materials lead me to believe it will last numerous seasons. Zipper vents under the arms are noticeable but will just take a few wears to get used to. Fit is spot on but doesn't leave a lot of layering underneath. I normally wear a large shirt but ordered a medium according to the size guide. The medium fits perfectly but doesn't leave a lot of room if you're laying up underneath.

Just purchased as a ski jacket and worn it once so far. I really like the features and quality.

Real nice coat it's both fashionable and will keep you warm definitely kept the snow off my butt

Size was as expected. What I love about Columbia jackets is they provide room in the chest and shoulders to move. Love the dual threat aspect of this jacket so far. Next week is our first day on the mountain and I'm excited to see if this keeps me as warm on copper Mountain ad it does while I'm out with the dogs.

Great Coat. Id been searching for a while for a replacement coat that included a zip out liner. Having had a fleece liner in the past I wasn't sure about how I would like the puffy jacket. It really is a second jacket you can wear minus the shell. I puffy liner if It had one minus is that it can snag quite easily if you're not careful. It was perfectly warm this morning at 33 degrees. Id didn't feel as though I needed the exterior shell also. The exterior shell can also be worn separately. It has a decent zipper and appears to be pretty durable. The cuffs have a velcro closure and close quite well either around my wrists and would do so with gloves easily as well. Overall the Coat is a pleasant surprise we will see if it holds up to my previous one for cabelas which lasted over 20 years. This has the potential to do so. I am rather thin and would normally wear a medium however I ordered a large becuase I like the larger feel. I do believe it runs true to size so unless you want a the same feel as I do order your normal size.

Fit is as expected. Warm coat should serve me well.

Keeps you very warm! Outer layer is a little bit long for a 5"8 male, but inner layer is perfect!

Bought this to replace a Columbia 3-in-1 interchange jacket that I had for almost 15? 20? years. It was still plenty warm, but after many, many washings, the shell didn't hold up to heavy rain. I like the Interchange system, since it lets me use all or parts of it all year round. The Whirlibird looks to be just as well made. Sizing was perfect. We had a cold snap come through here (Colorado) right after I got it, so I was able to test its warmth right away, and it passed with flying colors.

Great all in one jacket with the best of both worlds! Love that it turns into a great jacket that can be removed from the shell for those spring skiing days or can be combined for even the coldest winters!

Bought this for skiing, and it's really a great coat. I particularly like that it essentially has a secret coat inside, if it gets too warm out. No issue on sizing, I went my usual medium, and it fits well.

It's a wonderful coat/jacket. I would recommend it to a friend for sure.
