Fits well. Very warm and comfortable. Have not yet had an opportunity to wear it skiing. My wife purchased a Columbia Interchange jacket in 2105 and still loves it!

Got this jacket for my boyfriend for our first snowboarding trip (and also his first time ever seeing snow)! He was warm throughout the trip (temps of 10 degrees) and also loved being able to add/remove layers when necessary while out and about. The jacket kept him warm and dry while both on and off the slopes. I have the same coat in women's and love it just the same! Highly recommend!

Christmas gift for my fianc - those are his two favorite colors. He loved it and said it was very warm.

I grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and needed a new winter coat for a visit back home to my parents in December/January (temps usually hover in the 20s-30s during the day). I read countless reviews and ultimately the Whirlibird won out for its versatility and price. Warmth, of course, was a huge priority and I was a little nervous this wouldn't be as good as previous coats I've owned. My boyfriend and I (I got the women's version) wore them cross-country skiing in Yellowstone, downhill skiing and ice fishing (this involves a lot of sitting) and never once did we feel cold. It kept our core warm and while we were able to add additional layers underneath, we typically just wore a long-sleeve base layer. I did notice the zippers stuck some while we were downhill skiing but it was a particularly cold day and they were still workable. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would buy again! For men, I'd say it runs true to size, but I sized up in the women's since it's more tapered.

Jacket fits very well and has excellent cold weather comfort. The hood folded nicely. Not too heavy either for the cold weather comfort.

I am so thrilled with this purchase. It keeps me warm in the coldest of conditions and it is very reasonably priced, especially compared to other high-end brands. You won't regret it.

Inside is foil like. Little crunchy. Keeps me plenty warm.

Great jacket! Very warm and good looking inner that works well by itself. I really like the blue color. Pockets are all in the right place and the zipper doesn't jam up on the lip of the jacket.

I purchased this jacket with the express intention of using it for Fly Fishing in Montana. The temperature started in single digits and rose to a balmy mid twenties two days in a row. It rained and it snowed and a little of everything in between. The winds were light at lass than 10 mph. This jacket performed perfectly. I was warm and dry in the worst conditions. The pockets held hand warmers and stayed dry. This jacket isn't too bulky and doesn't interfere with your movements when casting.

While it runs about a size larger than expected, this coat is super well made, light though warm, and aesthetically nice. It seems to be a great product that should last a long time.

This is my 3rd Columbia winter coat! Im 6'5", 200 lbs, ordered a XXL, & its fits quite well. Inner lining detaches & is quite stylish. Only change that I would make is adding a second front, upper pocket. All in all a great purchase!

I bought this for my husband who is always cold. We haven't had a chance to try it in true winter weather yet, but in the 40's he said, "This is actually warm!" The small fits well, he's 5'6" and 130#. It does look really chunky, so if you're looking for something aesthetically pleasing, that would be the only reason I wouldn't recommend it.
