Even Hoka’s wide is still narrow.

My favorite shoe for walking is the Hupana Slip but couldn’t find it on your site so ordered this one. Initially there was some discomfort on the inner ankle area of both feet but as the laces loosened that stopped. The laces came undone once during my walk on both shoes.

I was disappointed with this model of Hoku One One. I bought a trail running pair last year at REI and they fit perfectly and were comfortable immediately. I thought I had found the perfect brand based on those shoes. But, this pair is going back. The wide width is great but the tongue barely covers the opening and I don’t like laces rubbing on the top of my foot at the top with my higher arch. Also, the bottom inside or sole isn’t padded enough and doesn’t have as much arch support as my trail runners. I felt like the shoes were already “worn out” and the soles were directly on the hard tile floor versus being supportive and springy like a new pair should feel. I kept trying different socks hoping it was a sock issue, but equally bad in my thickest and most comfy athletic sock. Delivery was swift… I ordered and they said they would arrive next Tuesday but came today (Friday).

These were so tight! I had to send them back. sigh.

Really cute & stylish to wear for travel as well as athletics BUT I felt a real lack of cushioning & support especially in the heel. I have Achilles problems & need to choose carefully. These are not the ones for me.

Not comfortable

Loved the look and the way this shoe felt when walking. What I did not like is that it was too tight around the front of my ankle. It should have been cut differently. It was uncomfortable when I had the laces tied. Back it goes.

Love the styling. However even the wide runs narrow in toe box. Also the cushioning is definitely not as plush as I was hoping. I wear the Clifton and the Arahi and for me the soles felt uncomfortably hard even for just casual wear. Do no think these would work for running or fitness walking if you prefer a cushy feel or have plantar fasciitis.

I like this pair of Hokas- they're very simple- and my podiatrist recommended them for an issue I've been having. They seemed narrow and possibly a bit long-which I could live with, but not the tightness around my toes where I'm experiencing arthritis pain. I'm exchanging them for a wide width and 2/2 size smaller.

Had to return; felt like a full size larger than my Bondi 7s in the same size!

The shoelaces are too short to double tie and keep coming undone! Plus these are nowhere near as comfortable or as stable as my first Hoka One Ones. The wide size in this version is inconsistent. I bought these because I’m in PT for a bad back. These won’t help with recovery.

Disappointed. I have the Clifton 7s that were life changing. I've been way more active since I got the Cliftons as they drastically reduced my foot and knee pain. I was hoping that these would have great support with a lower sexier profile for everyday wear. They didn't have any sort of "Hoka" cushion or support that I was looking for. And they were a bit firm and stiff. For comparison, they're better than my Vans Slip Ons, but my Vans Ultrarange were more comfortable than these. Will be sending back.

I wanted to love these, but there is something about the construction that makes my feet uncomfortably hot no matter what socks I wear! I even tried no socks, but they just don’t have good ventilation. As a reference my feet are always on the cold side.
