love this shoe! but please make the laces less slippery! the other two pair of Hokas that i have don't have these slippery laces. i have to double tie these to keep them from coming undone.

does make a difference in wearing these shoes on how tired I feel compared to my other brand name shoes

I run 5Ks & less, as well as do cross-training workouts in them. They are comfortable, but I've not had any notable improvements. I feel like my foot kind of slips off the cushioning when I do quick, side to side agility movements. Overall, I like the shoe.

So, I love the shoe and wear it for comfy, 5 mile walks in Manhattan. Looks great too, in black. The thing is, the laces are way too short. They come undone easily. Too short to double-knot. So, you may have to buy your own, as I did.

First time I have ever ordered a pair of shoes online, I cannot believe how comfortable and how well they fit. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that fit the way I like them and was skeptical about ordering online but I'm so happy I did.

I bought these in a wide width as my fresh pair of shoes for recovery from a knee replacement. These are easy to get on and have been a fine shoe fir my first steps and waking with new knee.

I have what you'd call problem feet. I have a foot that had surgery and ended up with a collapsed arch, a significant bunion, and toes that splay out a little extra to one side. Even without the surgery, I have low arches and wide feet. This shoe works surprisingly well for me. My only issue is that the inserts that come with the shoe are not super comfortable for me - the way they push into my arches hurts a little. I solved that issue with some semi-custom inserts from Road Runner Sports. I will say they run bigger than other brands I've tried, about half a size. I'm marking "Feels too big" for that reason, and "Feels too wide" because they do accommodate my wide feet.

'Love the shoes for walking. Very comfortable and sporty looking without my looking like a jock. (Mine are drizzle/lunar rock, which is a light gray.) Easy to put on because of the pull loops on the tongue and heel. I expect them to be an essential part of my wardrobe for travel (when it's safe to do that again). Suggestion: the laces need to be 3-4" longer. An "extra cushioned" version would also be a nice addition to the product line.

Even though it is a gorgeous shoe, it is not as comfy as my Clifton 7 that I love . The sole is more rigid. And it says that your feet won't stink - well, after a whole day on my feet, they do

Great stability and durability.
I found the arch support less than I need.

My feet are odd, so ideally I'd need two different sizes, so I chose the larger size and one shoe is a little big. Besides that, these are great shoes. Only took one walk/run to break in and I love them.

These are so stylish and definitely wide enough but they are not as cushioned as other Hoka One One shoes. My feet somewhat over-pronate and because there is no padding around the top edge of the shoe it was stiff and rubbed my ankle uncomfortably. If you do not over-pronate this would be a very comfortable and cute walking shoe.

It's s light weight comfortable shoe with good support for my over-pronation. The only problem is that there is a gem/seam about 1/2 outside of the lace area on the inside that is rubbing my toe and causing irritation. I don't know yet if this will subside over time, but right now I can't wear them 2 days in a row.

These shoe are comfortable from to get go. They have great arch support and are not too squishy and over padded.
The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because the laces are very silky and must be double knotted to stay tied.

These shoes are comfortable and feel nice. They do give me a slight pain in the arch, but I haven't figured out if I just need to break them in or not. I have pretty high arches. I would definitely buy these again!

Absolutely love these shoes. No break-in period, super comfy for all day wear right out of the box. They fit true to size. My only gripe is the laces; they are too short, which makes tying difficult, and they are also very slippery so require double knotting to stay tied. I hope HOKA changes the laces a bit but overall this shoe is fantastic. I have narrow feet with extremely high arches and can wear these all day long with no complaints.

I was looking for shoe with a sturdy, inflexible sole at the forefront due to a previous foot injury. These are too flexible at the ball of my foot to meet my needs. Theyre a stylish shoe, but he laces seem strangely short--I can barely tie them--which is a weird issue for a >$100 shoe. They'll unfortunately have to go back.

I loved the Hupana Em so much that as soon a I put on my first pair I went back out and bought a 2nd. Now I wish I had filled my closet with them. I tried the Akasa and found it bulky so I went back to Hupana but this time Flow because no more EMs :( The shoe is pretty comfy a little more narrow and stiffer than the EM (esp the tongue) but my big challenge is they added metal ring protection for the laces and the seam from the ring rubs the skin off my ankles. I have to wear my shoes with band-aids and carry extras. I tried taping over the lace holes with exercise tape but it comes off. Not sure why they got ride of the soft holes reinforced with thread rather than metal. (I have wide feet and a high instep - my orthotics bump me up from a 9 to an 11)

I'm a new nurse looking for the perfect shoes to use for work. I had heard about Hokas, but didn't want to be a part of the fad. I ended up caving in when I was newly diagnosed with Morton's neuroma. Instantly, I loved the feel of them that I ordered a different style for my daily errands. Definitely did not/does not disappoint. I'm ready for my third pair for working out!
