The Hoka Rincon felt great, a super light - well cushioned neutral running show. Unfortunately after about 2 weeks and 55 miles of marathon training I developed serious Achilles pain. If you are neutral and don't need extra Achilles support, these shoes are fantastic. Apparently I need a higher heel-toe offset than Rincon offers. HUGE thanks to Zappos and their 30-Day Runlimited Guarantee - I was able to return them for a refund and find a more stable running shoe to continue my training. I felt bad returning them but it was a huge relief not to have to throw away $115. And that's why Zappos is always my first choice!

I wear an 8 in everyday shoes, but an 8.5 in running shoes normally. I would wear an 8 in these. These 8.5 were huge. Also, in case anyone needs to know (I did) the factory insole liner that it comes with is glued in. So if you wear orthotic inserts or arch supports, you would either need to cut out the Hoka inserts or wear your personal insert over the factory liner (which makes the shoe much tighter). I loved how light these were and very responsive feeling, but I needed more squishy cushion and felt like the Clifton 6 was a better fit for me.

These have a mesh upper that's so open I can feel the outside air. Less cushion/bounce and lower height than Hoka Arahi 3 (way less than Bondi 6), but slightly more cushioned and slightly higher footbed than my Ghost 11s. I prefer the level of cushion and the light stability in the Arahis but these feel faster and lighter. I don't have the accidental foot scuffs I get in the Arahis. They have a similar low heel-toe drop, which works for me as I tend to strike toe to mid-foot. I'm normally an 8 in runners and needed a 7.5 in these. Even in the 7.5 I slide around a bit with thin socks, I think the toe box is very spacious.

Reminds me of the original Clifton. Very soft and breathable with a wider toe box than subsequent Cliftons. The Speedgoat cushioning is more responsive however I do love the squishiness of these! But the insoles are glued in weirdly up onto the side of the heel.

This is it kids, this is the one! I found my 'sole' mate. Not a great runner, call my self a trotter but with these babies I might become one. Straight outta the box perfection. This is going to be the ultimate warm weather runner. The mesh upper is exactly that, all mesh. I haven't seen that before and honestly I'm not sure what that's going to mean for wear and tear over the long haul but I can say it makes for an AMAZINGLY light, comfortable and cool run. I didn't realize how cool and breezy the mesh was until I looked down and could see the pattern of my socks. I've tried other Hookas when they first came out and thought they were fun and novel but heavy and wobbly like trying to run on spongy marshmallows. The Rincon has completely changed the way I look at the brand. The sole is (obvs) cushiony, but it stable and nice and not weird. I wear a size 8 in almost every shoe and ordered a size 8 and it was perfect from the jump. Thank God for Zappos 30 day Run Limited Guarantee and for finding these shoes. No regrets, Just buy them.

These take a little getting used to! Was advised by a podiatrist to try these to help with my arches. They're definitely supportive and cushioning at the same time. Would recommend, but allow yourself to break them in slowly.

I wanted to love these... but I didn't. I have ran in the Cavu and the Clifton 5- both are wonderful. The Rincon just didn't feel as soft. My feet and my back hurt after running in these on 3 different runs. I am a hard heel-striker, and these just didn't have the support I need.

After reading the reviews, I bought the Rincon in size 8.5. The package came fast! They are true to size. I also have foot pain (plantar fasciitis). So far I've had these shoes for a week and I love them! The pain is gone. I feel like I'm floating in these shoes. I'll use them for power walking/jogging. They are so wonderful that I even bought a second pair about 3 days after!

I am a devoted Hoka Hupana wearer, but could not find them anywhere!! I read some reviews and searched for similar Hoka's and found this Rincon model. It is a very comfy shoe and am happy with them but it is not the same as the Hupana. It has a more supportive sole/mostly through the sides where the Hupana is really neutral - flatter, not much support. I feel these are better for my joints (and double hip replacement) and the Hupana could be a "race" day or switch to this in my run rotation. I have only ran twice since the weather has not been great but the mesh makes me think the warmer weather will make me appreciate the air that can flow in easily. I wear a 9 in Hupana and bought the 9 in Rincon with no problems right out of the box; a 6 mile run. I love that Zappos sent me an email with the 30 day run in them offer but hope I don't have to take advantage of that. They are nice and cushy, yet firm. I don't really like a to marshmallow ride so this feels good to me. Will purchase these again but hope that Hupana comes out in the newest model soon so I can have both.

I usually wear a Brooks Ghost, but the most recent version of that shoe has been a bit off. I've been curious to the Hoka One One's because so many people wear them. I didn't like the Bondi because it felt like I was walking on cushioned heels (I felt like I would seriously twist my ankle with any misstep). I didn't like the Clifton because though comfortable as heck, they felt too squishy and I wondered how my knees would fare trying to stabilize me with every foot strike. But the Rincon's felt just right. They are SUPER light and SUPER comfy. I add in my custom, full-length othotics and they feel great. The toe box is a little narrow, but my feet are OK in them. However, if you like a wide toe box, you may not like these. I now run alternating in these and the Ghosts and think it works quite well. Super happy.

Once I got to 8 miles, the cushioning in my brooks cadence shoes were just not cutting it. I ordered these on a whim and they came in a week before my second half marathon. I gave them a shot on race day (stupid, I know) and they were amazing. I did have one blister, but I think that was more from the KT tape on my foot than the shoes. My feet were pain free after the half which was all I was really asking for. They’re a little narrower than what I prefer, but it’s not too bad.

Love these but definitely felt that they run a little big. I always wear and 8.5 but had to return these for an 8.

I love these shoes! I wear size 8 (8.5 or 9 in Asics) but these run a little big. The 7.5 fits perfectly. I always wore Asics but I decided to try Hoka. Best decision ever. With my Asics I would always get runners knee and avoided running because I hated the knee pain. These have made me fall in love with running again. I can run for longer periods of time without having to worry about my knee. I have wide feet and oddly enough these were great after breaking them in. The first mile I ran in them the side of my foot started hurting but after the first mile the pain went away.

I am a long distance runner. I have ran a 1/2 and a full marathon in these. I LOVE them. I have a low arch and these are so comfortable. I will definitely order another. I had 400 miles on my first pair and they still looked great.

I bought these now that I’m home with my kids (virus) and standing all day doing school work with them. I also wanted to get back into some jogging but have a bad hip so needed lots of support to pull this off. These shoes felt comfortable right off & don’t squish my toes. I haven’t done a ton of running yet but my hip hasn’t bothered me at since wearing these daily. They’re pretty cute design. I got the grey & coral color. The feel is a little different than many running shoes (the way your foot hits) but I got used to it right off. Very happy with this purchase!

My first pair of Hokas and I’m in love! I typically wear a size 7 in sneakers, but heeded other reviews and ordered a 6.5. Fit perfectly! I don’t run anymore but they are fab for my walks and hikes. Who knows? Maybe I will be able to run again with these babies!

Very comfortable and light weight shoe. I am using it for power walking with my dog. It did not require any breaking in.

Really like this shoe. Definitely runs a full size larger. I am an 11.5 M to M/W in most other shoes and the 10.5 M fit great. Very light weight shoe. The fabric is very breathable. I hope it holds up. The soles of my last pair seemed to wear rather quickly. They were a size 11, but my foot slid around too much, so I exchanged them. The insole is glued in whereas in my previous Hokas, Bondi and Gaviotas, the insole was removable. Hope this review helps!

I normally wear a women's 9 and had to exchange the original order to an 8.5 because they were slightly too big. I took the 8.5's on my first run and they felt great with a perfect. This is my first Hoka One One shoe and I plan on ordering more just in a .5 smaller than my usual shoe size.

I was surprised at how wide looking these shoes are. Also, they cause my foot to feel lower in the heel than in the front. Some people might prefer that

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for over a year and a half and Hoka shoes are what have saved my daily walking needs. This particular pair is and feels light yet I feel stable and secure. I have reliant width feet, I think more on wide side and the shoe does feel a bit wider than what I would like. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. But all else is perfect. The fabric, the color, the laces and the sole are wonderful!

I originally purchased a size 8 as I typically am in sneakers. However had to exchange these for a full size small as they run large. The width and arch support on these are great. I suffer from plantar fasciitis as well as heel spurs from long distance running and being on my feet often. I can barely wear most shoes nowadays unless they have heavy cushion support. These have done the trick so far. They are super lightweight and come in fun colors. Do note that the insoles are glued and not easily removable as the video shows.
