I bought Clifton 6 for both my daughters. They liked the Clifton 6 better than the Bondi 6 for running since it's lighter and not as clunky heavy like the Bondi.

Now 65 years old, with arthritis in my knees and also diabetic feet, I have been advised for years by my doctors to avoid any impact activities. However, as a former runner and athlete, I really want to stay active as for long as possible. The extra cushioning, arch support, and roomy forefoot of the Clifton 6 allows me to run gently (in moderation) on soft terrain without immediately triggering my various aches and pains. I also like them for general around town wear.

Chunky shoes are in style! I bought these because I have a foot injury and my doctor recommended them. For now I just use them for doing errands but maybe after my foot heals I can run in them.

I am so happy I ordered these! They are "just what the doctor ordered!" I am a 64 year old former athlete, and have very sensitive, injury prone diabetic feet. But I still try to be active, and run short distances (about two miles) on a treadmill or soft terrain several days per week. I've been able to do this with my Hoka Bondi 5s, but the fit on Bondi is a bit rigid and my foot slips around inside the shoe, to the point of sometimes causing blisters or injury. The Clifton 6, while still providing cushioning and support and plenty of toe room, hugs my mid foot and heel better, with a more secure fit, and and does not put any pressure in my sensitive toes. I LOVE them - and I'm looking forward to my next run!

After having mid-foot fusion surgeries on both Feet, I asked my podiatrist for a shoe recommendation. He highly recommended Hoka for my circumstances. I went to a local shoe store that specializes in foot issues to be properly measured and fitted with a pair of Clifton 6 in black. I fell in love with them and purchased them immediately. Within a few days was trolling Zappos.com for another pair in a different color. I hope these last a reasonable amount of time, but for right now my feet are wonderfully comfortable, which makes me very happy!

The shoe is wonderful, especially is you have plantar fasciitis ..unfortunately, after about 20 days intermittent wear, some threading same apart inner right shoes and the tubing was actually painful. Nothing i could do to fix.

This is my 3rd pair of Hokas. They were recommended by an orthopedist for foot and ankle pain. I don’t think I can ever wear another sneaker! They are soft and comfy, supportive and sturdy. There is no “breaking them in”, they just fit. The ankle opening is so cushy and flexible. No rubbing anywhere! And the curved toe makes walking so smooth, it makes you wonder how you walk in shoes with totally flat bottoms.

This shoe runs about a half size large. I usually wear an 8.5 M in sneakers and thanks to reviews, I ordered both the 8 and the 8.5. The 8 fit perfectly. The toe box in the Clifton 6 seems to be a bit wider than in the 5, which I like. The 5 felt a little too narrow for me. The heel is snug and the cushioning is great.

This is my second purchase of Clifton style. I had a total knee replacement nearly 7 months ago and these shoes relieved the stress on my knees, especially when standing to prepare meals. Standing still was a big issue for several months and these shoes were the fix for that stiffness feeling my knee had. I highly recommend hokas for that lovely cushion.
