I stopped running years ago due to bad knees and back. I had actually gotten away from working out completely. A couple of months ago I decided to get back in shape. I had a pair of Saucony's and tried to run in them. I ran about 1/4 mile and my knees pain was excruciating. I couldn't even walk much more than 1/2 mile. I've been working out on an elliptical machine, but it'snot the same as a good run.. I did some research and decided to get a pair of Clayton's last week. I figured at least I may be able to walk. The first day, I walked pain free and I felt so good I ran for a few minutes. Today I ran 15 minutes with no pain. I know for you serious runner's 15 minutes is nothing, but for me it is a big deal. I have now set goal of 45 minute runs.

My favorite shoe and only one I can walk longer distances with Hallux Rigidus. Bought a backup pair.

Very good fit - which means for me 1/2 size down with a wide shoe. These shoes have been a total game changer. I’ve worn so many wide shoes and these seem perfect. Only one week and 30+ miles in— but they’re excellent !

I was wearing a pair of Brooks Ghost 12s and transitioned to these. The sizing seems the same to me. They’re noticeably lighter than the Brooks and offer better support all in all. After running 8k this afternoon I’m really happy with the shoes. They seem sturdy and felt great.

Ordered a 12 as I normally would, but they were too narrow. Returned them for 12W and they fit perfect. I have spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis in my knee. Have been looking for a shoe that is kind to my body, and this shoe is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Comfort and relief right out of the box. These shoes allow me to take long walks again without feeling the pain of every step and the backache that follows. I never heard of the Hoke brand before, but it is now the only shoe I will consider.

I've owned 3 different pairs of Hoaks, 2ea. Bondi's and one Clifton, I'm on their web site because I'm shopping for a second pair of Clifton's. So far I've logged over 1,000 miles on those 3 pairs - on asphalt, gravel and even in the snow and ice. Overall they wear like iron but provide a very comfortable and consistent feel throughout their scheduled life (I'm getting about 450 miles per). The sole cushion does it's job, and if you find yourself running on gravel or the shoulder of the road a lot, that extra cushion will pay huge dividends.

Excellent shoe. Not quite as much cushioning as my Bondi 6’s, but lighter and still significant cushioning. Support is perfect and I slightly supinate. So far I’ve loved all the HOKA One One shoes I’ve purchased. I can’t see me ever running in another brand. They just need a limit more style and better color choices. But I didn’t buy them for that; bought them for running comfort and my knees, hips and back are thankful.

Like running on clouds. I've gone on three 10+ mile runs in these so far, and they live up their predecessor (and older version of Cliftons). A bit clunky -- so not for going super fast, but great for long runs.

I like the shoe and it's true to size. Just wore them twice since the weather isn't the greatest.

I've struggled forever to find a pair of great running shoes. I have been a Brooks Ghost guy for years and was looking for something a little easier on the legs. I'm a 6'0" 200 pound runner so I'm far from the lightest runner. These shoes are lightweight, but offer a ton of cushioning. I got the wide and I still think they could be wider, but with playing around on the lacing it works just fine. I have Metatarsalgia in my foot so I wear a special insert there, but these are amazing. I'm training for a half marathon and these are perfect. WILL buy again and stick to Hoka products in the future.

Hoka running or tennis shoes are recommended for folks who have foot problems. They are very comfortable, provide significant support and are just great shoes especially for older guys who have tender feet. Hoka shoes were recommended to me by my neighbor who is an avid skier, biker and dog walker. This is my first pair of Hoka shoes and so far, so good.

Let me add my voice to the chorus singing the Clifton 6's praise. I wanted to run longer distances but my knees couldn't take it in the racing flats I usually wear. Proper form, even as a forefoot runner, just couldn't reduce my knee pain against the backdrop of long distances and hard, unforgiving road. I tried the Rincon, too, but that was unexpectedly too squishy in the forefoot, tiring my legs. I never thought that a 10+ oz. shoe like the Clifton 6 could be exactly the plush and firmness, at 145 lbs, that I needed. I've since been running nearly everyday in these and it hasn't slackened my form. In fact, because I'm able to run more times a week and with ever lessening pain, my form is actually getting better -- more relaxed and efficient. The Clifton 6 are definitely the shoes to get if you want to run, actually want to run, as opposed to running, getting sidelined with injury, and giving up running altogether.

I got these as a recovery shoe, to wear after hiking, or running long durations. I would wear them the next day as well. They worked like a dream. I felt as if I was walking on the clouds. In fact, they were so comfortable I began wearing them as my daily use shoes when out and about. I've even went jogging in them. Lots of compliments on how white they are.. Not one complaint here. Looking to get a more grey color eventually. Hoka fan for life.

I have been running for over forty years in many different brands of shoes through out the years but exclusively Hokas the last five or six years. I have never ran in a better mor comfortable shoe than my Clifton 6's.
