There's no denying that Hoka One One makes the most comfortable long distance running shoes. The upper is thin and lightweight, which offset some of the heft from the soles.

These shoes had me leaping tall buildings in a single bound! The greatest thing since sliced bread! now seriously, the shoes are pretty good but on the uglier side like the senior citizen mall walking "shape ups" which tone your body and cure cancer. They are comfortable but probably another fad. They arent head and shoulders better than any of my other exercise gym shoes. The hype is just the hype.

Been wearing Hoka for years. Previous Hoka was a Bondi after years of Clifton. I prefer Clifton because much softer. I get the walking on air feeling. Won't wear anything else.

I ran or rode a bicycle for strenuous exercise for 25 years without missing a single day. However, I developed small fiber neuropathy in my feet 2 1/2 years ago which hurts 24/7 and cannot be relieved by any medical means. Weight-bearing, standing became very painful and Nike has to narrow a toe box and bike shoes just too tight and painful. Had a closet full of Nilkie"s which I had to throw out.
A Podiatrist suggested I give HOKA a try and the salesperson suggested extra wide.
I will always have foot pain but these shoes make walking for exercise and standing for prolonged periods possible which is vital in keeping the depression at bay. Since my Hoka's allowed me to start walking for exercise again I began working seriously on getting my mind right using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I tell myself again and again "the pain is not from tissue damage and therefore I can ignore it and continue." It has taken a very long time and immense effort but I now pretty much just put on my Hoka's, disregard the pain and walk for about one hour and enjoy the experience.
I purchased the white carbon model, which does not come in wide but is a great looking shoe and works okay for me every so often. It would be nice if the Clifton 6 model was more attractive.

I ordered my usual size 11 medium and they were to small and narrow. I went up a half size and chose wide width and they fit fine. I've never worn a wide shoe but it was necessary with these Hokas.

I usually run in a Brooks Adrenaline but was looking to try a different brand. I run anywhere from 10-25 miles a week and heard that Hokas were great for long distance. I tried a similar pair of Hokas on in a store but found a better style online. After running on the treadmill and outdoors for a number of runs I started to develop some pain on the balls of my feet unlike I had experienced with previous shoes. Looking back I may have needed a different size or style of the shoe. I have flat feet and read a review that the Gaviota would be a better style. I have a size 14 and noticed that the Clifton was a little narrow for me and would have preferred a little more room in the midfoot. A half size bigger would be the way to go, but again, I am a 14 and that was the largest size that Hoka seems to make.

The cushion on these shoes are amazing! For some reason the arch support is too pronounced for my feet and causes discomfort. I also discovered blisters on the inside of both of my arches. The shoe works for a lot of people and for some reason it just doesn't fit my feet quite right.

I have Morton's Neuroma, left foot toes, corn right foot, side of the arch. I was searching for a shoe that would add comfort, allowing me to run. I've been an avid runner for ten years. Unfortunately these Clifton's did not ease the discomfort. I did return the shoes. I have other shoes, Saucony, Brooks... all new models, neither worked. I have a minor surgery in three weeks to address these problems. I will try another pair of Clifton's when I'm healed, as I was very pleased with the softness of these shoes as well as the overall fit and style

They fit great, I have a wider foot so the 2E was decent. They feel awesome, super padded and comfy, like running on pillows. And, the laces are better than my old Hokas where they kept coming undone.

I like this shoe a lot and definitely recommend it, however, I must have received a defective pair or something. I've only had this shoe since October 2019 and the rubber outsole is beginning to separate from the cushioned portion of the lower. I wear these shoes pretty often, but just for casual wear around the house and what not. I have only ran in them a handful of times. Again, overall I am very pleased with the shoe from a comfort standpoint, I just am disappointed in the fact that they're falling apart with just a few months of light use.

These were great for walking, but when running, they left blisters on the balls of my feet.

I had heard good things about Hoka and the CLifton 6, so I thought I'd give the brand a try. I initially purchased the standard width of the shoe, but found they were quite narrow and my heels were landing on the guide rails on the outside of the shoe. I've never had owned a pair of wide shoes, but thought I'd give it a shot given the free exchange service. After trying the wider shoe, I found my feet were still landing on the guide rails. I also had discomfort on the arch of my foot which I haven't had in any previous running shoe I've owned. It seems these shoes are built for people with narrower feet with bigger arches than mine. I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to running in these. I'm giving 2/5 for the great exchange service and cool designs, but cannot get past the shoes not fitting my feet well.

The inner aspect of the insole is angled upward and not a smooth fit. I've never had this problem with running shoes before-- with this brand or others. I've seen others with similar complaints. Hoka needs to evaluate this design flaw.

These shoes were great. As a college student who constantly walked to class and worked out in these shoes, my feet never hurt. Even as I began to wear them down from use, I replaced the sole and the comfort was still there. I wore my pair to the bone to where they were literally falling apart. Hokas are the best shoe brand for comfort and functionality.

Have enjoyed and relied upon Cliftons since knee surgery in 2013. I thought my running days were over until I found Hokas. Thank You!! Please don't ever retire that model!!

Going to the wide width made this a very comfortable fit. This shoe is comfortable and lightweight.
