For cold weather. I was ordering a hat for the winter daily run. This one is too thick for that purpose, but it is a great hat for cold winter.

This is the second one we've bought. My husband says its comfortable, warm, and fits perfectly. He likes the simple style and it seems to be the one he always reaches for. Can't go wrong with North Face.

Bought this beanie for camping and LOVE it! I wasn't really looking for anything too fashionable (just wanted something to sleep in), but it's actually something I'm happy wearing during the day and around others. The quality is great - nice, thick fabric - and I love the fleece lining around the ears for extra warmth. I took a shower on a cooler morning at camp (high 40s) and wore this hat to keep my wet hair warm and it worked great - didn't feel a chilly breeze or anything going through. Also, something I found to be a pro but others may find a con is that the hat is pretty long, so it covered pretty much my entire forehead. This was longer than I was expecting but actually added to the warmth and feeling super cozy with this on my head. I have a feeling I will be transitioning this beanie A

This beanie provided a great fit & is nicely warmed with fleece providing a snug fit.

Great hat I've had 3 of them over the years, because I use it a lot and they end up getting left places and lost (I'm forgetful). The lining is super soft, the hat goes with everything, it's not too bulky. As a petite woman, it's a little long for me, but if it slips over my forehead too much I can roll it up a bit and it helps keep snow out of my eyes. It's my favorite hat for practical, winter use. To demonstrate it's range: I live in WI and walk my dog eeeevery day, including when it was -20 F out. This hat (with a parka) kept my ears, head, and forehead toasty warm even in that weather. I also wore it hiking in AZ in October in 40 degree mist and wind, and it didn't get sweaty or annoying.

We live in Chicago and the weather gets very cold there for it's a great product AND HE LOOKS GREAT IN IT

This is a great beanie. Perfect fit, no cone or pointy top. Keeps your head warm like it's supposed to. I have bought 7 of these just so I can wear every day. Had them for years and wash all the time without wear.

The hat is comfortable and the fleece lining keeps the hat in place and keeps your ears super warm. .

This hat is awesome nice and warm and extra material around the ear, i love hats that fit my head shape nicely like this one,it worth every penny. Definitely would buy more, gray one this time.

I have a large head and this beanie covers it and my entire earlobes (most beanies will not).

This is a fantastic beanie. It fits well and isn't too heavy, but keeps the ears warm with the inner liner. I'm a huge fan of this style!

I use this product for cold days, my ears get cold really quick and I don't feel a thing with this hat.

Love the blue wing teal color! There is a super soft fleece section on the inside that covers the ears, but the the entire inside is not lined with fleece. The fit is great and comfortable. Keeps a bald head warm in the Minnesota winter.

I would use it daily all year round it's not too hot or too cold !

I finally purchased a beanie that does not resemble those seven little Disney characters, when l put it on. No need to fold it or pull it down as much as possible to to get rid of a point like top end. I will be replacing my other various color beanies after I see how well this one holds up. (e.g. a few washes and wears)
