Great hat that keeps you warm but is still breathable. Not as soft as your typical fleece but yet does not feel scratchy. Well constructed and looks like it will last a while.

For me, buying a hat is like buying a bathing suit - it's difficult to find one that fits and is flattering. This hat does both and I really like the added warmth that the flannel rim provides. I liked it so much I gave one to a good friend at Christmas and she loved it too!

Perfect for a Minnesota winter. Nice look and helps me stay warm with it's double layers.

Would buy again or as a gift

I have a North Face down coat that is uber warm and the hat is a perfect companion to the coat when I want to keep my head warm and don't need the hood yet.

I love how warm this hat is. It fits well under hoods and helmets.

I love this hat. I've always used cheap hats that make your head sweat and get scratchy and uncomfortable. You can wear this hat for hours because it's breathable and doesn't get hot or sweaty, but it still keeps your head warm. I wish it was a 1/2 inch longer to cover the bottom of my ears better, but I've got big lobes and it works great.

Well made with warm and comfortable interior band. Excellent fit, low profile but big enough to provide good coverage. Assuming it is as durable as expected, it should be a good value. I expect years of use. Like the green color, works well in the field.

This hat is perfect and lovely. Perfect product for cold or windy weather.

This is my 3rd purchase of the Bones Beanie in the last 5 years. I will continue to purchase this over and over because the quality is great, the price is right, and most importantly - it keeps my bald head warm and toasty. It's a comfortable hat, not too deep (which works for me), and warm enough to block out wind and cold without being too warm that you sweat profusely in it. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

This is my second of this style hat--the first is still in use but after several years of lots of climbing and backpacking, it's time to add a fresh spare to the gear collection. I need a fleece ear band to keep the wind out and this one is perfectly snug on my head without being too tight. Also might be me, but with any looser weave fabric, I get earaches. I like that this is not fully fleece-lined since it gives me the right balance of ear wind protection and not-too-hot warmth. I wish the orange would've been brighter but that's a nit.
