I got my Speedcross 5 GTX just before a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Did several long hikesand let me tell you these things grip those trails like a mountain goat going up or down the trails. Doesn't matter if on hard boulders or trail rocks, or just hard packnot a single slip or slide. My new go-to hiker.

I have purchased probably five or six pairs on Salomon's trail running shoes. I typically have to wear custom orthopedic inserts in my shoes. However, I never have to wear them with any of my Salomon shoes or hiking boots. These shoes have great traction and work really well for trail hiking and running but they are also great for everyday wear. I wish Salomon would make dress shoes with this same footbed.

I am a lead trainer in an evaluator for special operations. I switch to your shoe because of recent reviews that I have read. Most reviews have received five stars which is well deserved. For what I do it is a great shoe.

Tried out on some off trail hikes with over 400ft of gain each. Great traction, super comfortable.

I have been using Salomon Speedcrosses for OCR racing for 5 years now and they never disappoint. The tread pattern and lugs are great for toe off while climbing the steeps and the heel cup fit is the best. I actually purchased these for everyday wear due to the color combo and feel that they provide plenty of support for all day wear. My only complaint is that the black part at the front of the toe box is actually not rubber or a separate material, but just a color that can rub off easily if it comes into contact with any mildly rough surface. But still not a deal breaker.

These shoes are well made and the color options are always eye-catching. I've been stopped many times by people asking me about these shoes. Unfortunately they've become someone of an addiction in that I've started a collection - they are works of art.

These are my 3rd pair of Solomon shoes. My Feel great at the end of a long day. They have a strong grip on all terrain when i'm hiking. I see more purchases in the future. Thank you for making such an amazing shoe!

I have a highly physical job that has me on my feet constantly. This is my second pair of speedcrosses and they have saved my feet and sanity.

Used these during the winter and wet spring for trail running. Kept my feet dry every time. Traction is great too.

Originally from the UK, I now live in Muskoka, Canada. For the last 4 months, we have had snow and ice on the ground. During that time I have worn these shoes nearly every day to run on both tarmac, snow, puddles and ice. As yet, I have not slipped over once with temperatures regularly dropping below -20C. They are comfy, the grip is insane, warm and they have kept all moisture out. I cannot rate these shoes high enough. They have totally delivered and are perfect for the conditions that I have described above. We also have a cottage in the Lake District, UK and I will be taking them back over there for some trail running in the Spring. Thoroughly recommended.

I have been using Solomon footwear for many years from heavy mountaineering boots to walking and trekking ones These new ones I've just purchased do not disappoint and are equally up to the high standard I have come to expect from Solomon.

Exactly what I was looking for. 100% Waterproof. Very responsive. Great grip in hard packed snow. No breaking period at all. Best running shoes I've ever had.

I've been through several pairs of these and used them in just about every condition I can think of: hot dusty trails, to snowy -25C Canada winters to long road hauls. Always warm and comfy - an excellent shoe, looking forward to my next pair. (The lugs do wear after a few hundred kms if used for regular road runs)

Most comfortable shoe and waterproof to make rainy, wet, muddy days a non-issue for walking, hiking or whatever comes my way. Shoe is definitely for narrow foot, which is perfect for me.

I have been getting this style of shoes for years now and I have nothing to complain about! They are durable and comfortable for many different hiking terrains. Highly recommend
