This jacket had an odd fit for me. A bit tight in the shoulders and the waist was a tad too high (this is noticeable in the website picture). The overall look of the coat on was kind of frumpy and I would like to say "stunted in growth"; like, it was supposed to be a parka, but didn't quite make the cut and was too short in length. I wanted to like this coat, but it just wasn't for me. I purchased the Columbia Carson Pass Coat which has a much more balanced fit

The color was not what was on the site, the zipper was non-functional. But it was warm and would have handled rainy Seattle just fine if I kept it, I'll say that for it!

Great looking jacket. not cumbersome around the neck. Hood falls away nicely.

I needed a new coat that was warmer than the one I currently had. This coat is very warm and has so many nice features to add to its attractiveness. I love the ties around the middle and on the hood, the extra pockets and the warm pockets. My hands are always freezing but not in this coat.

I bought this coat because I needed something heavier for the winter. I really like the way this jacket fits, and the functional pockets. The side zip pockets are the perfect size for my phone so I don't have to worry about it falling out of the lower ones. The fleece lining inside is warm. It zips up far and the hood doesn't fly off in the wind. The black was a great classic color choice.

I have never previously owned a Columbia and wanted one, as my previous coat did not hold wells against the wind. I am super impressed! I wear it every day and get lots of compliments on it.

Because sizing can be a problem within different brands, I was initially reluctant to order a coat online, especially since the thought of dealing with a possible return is not enjoyable. None-the-less, I took a chance and ordered this coat in a small. It fit perfectly! It's a comfortable coat that's kept me dry in rain, as well as cozy & warm in snow, even when temps dropped down into the teens.

Nice little jacket, a bit too warm for it this year though.

This jacket is everything I had wanted to purchase. It's SO warm, cute, and functional. I love the bands on the inside of the sleeves that keep the cold air out, the hand warmer pockets, the double zip function in the zipper (so easy for hiking especially when caving to be able to unzip the bottom half to allow more free movement for legs). It fits true to size and the ability to tighten the waist to allow some figure shaping is great! I purchased this coat in the olive green color and it is exactly the same as the photo! I personally love everything about this coat and purchased it after a close friend of mine bought one. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone. It's flattering, warm, functional, and truly worth the purchase. I'm very excited to wear it for years to come.

I have been looking for a black Sherpa lined winter jacket for a while now and came across this Columbia jacket and was thrilled to have found the perfect coat! It's longer which I love, the Sherpa lining keeps me super warm and like anything Columbia it's great quality and I think this coat will last me several winters. I like that it doesn't feel too bulky but I can still comfortably wear layers with it. My only qualm is that the fit right by the arm pit seems a little odd but it's definitely not a deal breaker, I would still recommend this jacket to anyone looking!

I love it!! It does great with a layer underneath, and seems to do well in the wind. I love the color. Also, I've washed it once and it did very well. The Sherpa stayed nice a lofty.

The product is very good and keep me warm in winter.

Well made coat - gave jacket to daughter for Christmas. The fit was exactly what she wanted. Great, strategic pockets, and very comfortable.

I live in North Dakota and the winters get pretty chilly. This coat has been great at keeping me warm, and I love the Sherpa lining. That way on the rare occasion I do wear the coat without a sweater it seems instantly warm unlike other coats. I went a size up just because I tend to wear so many layers but the medium would fit perfectly if I didn't keep so many layers on me during the winter. Would definitely recommend this coat to anyone looking.

I get soo many compliments on this jacket and it also keeps me warm while protecting me from the elements. I'm 5'4, 120lbs and the XS fits great, just the slightest bit snug--I would get a Small if you plan on wearing bulky sweaters/layers underneath. But its very warm, love all the details!

Very warm and fits true to size

I moved from Colorado (think lots of snow) to Oregon (think lots of rain) this year and all my winter outerwear was WAY too warm. I wanted a winter raincoat and selected this one. I am a big fan! It is warm (without making me hot), waterproof, a great length (covers my butt), and my favorite color (army green)! I would recommend this coat to anyone facing rainy winters. It runs true to size but I can still easily wear a bulky sweater underneath. The waist cinches in to give you some definition and curves.

Bought this jacket for an October trip to Iceland, needed something very warm and waterproof. It was perfect for the weather there, hiked for an hour in rain without soaking through, kept me warm in the crazy winds and cold temps. Columbia stuff doesn't always fit me well but this jacket was perfect. I bought it in XS. I'm 5'5.5" and about 117lb with long arms. Sleeves were adequately long, jacket comes down just past my butt. I think it's very flattering. I bought the camel brown color and am happy with it. My only minor complaint is that the hood is a little smallish.

We've already had a spell of winter weather where I'm living, and this coat kept me perfectly warm and comfortable. I love the sherpa lining.

The jacket is pretty warm. Personally i wear the down jackets for 30 degrees and lower. This was good for high 30s, 40s, i am always cold however. The hood is a little small and if i were to go with my real size (xs) the armpits would have been tight, but i size up 1 size for jackets to fit a sweater underneath. The jacket (at least mine) is mislabeled... The sleeve says omniheat but theres no silver in there just sherpa. Its a pretty warm jacket but the hood is small its not going to cover my glasses when its raining especially when im wearing a hat (does not cover my face at all). If the hood was bigger and the jacket was not mislabeled, definitely 5 stars. Its a great jacket and im keeping it but there were just a few things that were off about it. I did notice some people saying it was not flattering on them, its not a curvy jacket its pretty straight so i think it looked fine on me, but im also pretty flat with no curves, i feel like if youre little like me this should be good jacket for you.

I thought the fit of the jacket was excellentI'm 5'6" and 120 lbsI ordered it to be a bit large so I could layer underneath and a M was perfect. I do think the photos are slightly misleading in terms of color. I was excited to get a tan jacket, but the jacket is much darker and more orange in tone in person. So I'm ordering the black and returning the gray. I didn't test the jacket against the cold (August is quite warm in Philly) so I can't speak to function/warmth.

The Olive green is definitely brown on the outside. Other than that, product is as expected.

I really love this jacket. The material and quality of the coat are top notch. My only issue is if I wear a sweater underneath the coat feels a tad too snug. I always wear a large in coats without any issues. The coat is so warm though that I really don't need to wear a sweater underneath. I'm leaning toward keeping it any way.
