I love the look this jacket, I agree it's a sweater blanket. I think with the drape of this it would look best on someone taller given how over-sized it is.
I'm 5"9, 145lbs and could have done s/m but went with m/l for serve length.
I'll be contacting NF to see if I can get two more buttons or will be replacing the one it has and adding two more. My neck is cold wearing this as the one button is centered. It really is annoying.
Other than the closure, it's cozy warm and stylish. It's a little extra compared to some of the more typical Sherpa sweaters.

I was looking for a warm but stylish black coat to take on my trip to Germany in December and this is absolutely perfect! I normally wear a Medium so I got the M/L and it is spacious enough to wear a chunky sweater underneath and not feel like a stuffed pig ;) I would definitely recommend it!

I really wanted to like this fleece as it is soft and I loved the red color, but it was more than oversized. I'm generally an xs in Northface items with an occasional small if items are slim cutso in theory, the xs/s should have been fine. The sleeves were the right length, but you could fit two of me in it with it buttoned. The hood was also overly large and awkward. It'd fit better it there was a toggle closure nearer the hood to make it sit correctly. As it was entirely too large, I returned it. This wrap would be nice if you can size down; as I already tried the smallest size, I could not. I would say the xs/s I tried fit more like a generous m/l if that helps.

Too big in every way! Usually NF runs small, not this time. I could gain 30-40lbs and then this jacket might fit. I am petite (5'1", 105lbs) and usually wear a size S in NF. Bought the xs/s, it looks like I'm wearing someone else's jacket who is much bigger than me. Some of the issue is the bulky material and doubled fleece layers of the hood but the rest of the jacket is way too large. The fleece is thick, it will cook you alive. The vintage white is really a lt beige, not an off white. If you buy this, buy down in size. Unfortunately, there's no size that's good for me since I'm already at the bottom rung of the size ladder.

I am usually a med/lrg and ordered the medium. It was so soft I wanted the coat to work, but it is extremely oversized. I don’t think going down a size would even help, everything including the hood was extremely large. I love north face jackets but this looked comical.
