I AM A SIZE 16 AND BOUGHT THE M/L INSTEAD OF THE L/XL. I HAD TRIED ONE ON IN A STORE AND THEY ONLY HAD 1 IN THE WHITE. THE WHITE IS MORE LIKE A WHITE OATMEAL. THE WARM CHESTNUT IS BRIGHTER AND RICH IN TONE THAT PICTURED. I AM 5'2', 165LBS, AND HAVE ROOM FOR A FEW LAYERS UNDERNEATH. THIS IS A JACKET OF A LIFETIME AND OF HIGH QUALITY FABRIC AND COULD NOT BE ANY BETTER. THIS JACKET IS SELLING OUT ALL OVER...... GET IT!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!

I debated whether to buy this coat/wrap due to the price, but when a friend bought a Campshire jacket for her 2 year old, my decision was made. This coat is the softest, warmest and most luxurious coat I have ever seen or worn. It is beautiful and fluffy, and although it is oversized, the extra room is not an issue. On cold days, you can fit multiple layers underneath. I am very happy with this purchase. You will be, too.

This fleece wrap is so soft and cozy and really really warm. It's really roomy, so I sized 1 size down. I could have sized two sizes down but I do like the roomy-ness of it. The hood/collar area looks puffed up when I'm not wearing the hood but it keeps my neck nice and warm. Overall it's a great winter jacket and the softest one I own. You'll fall in love with it's softness, feels like you wrapped a blanket around yourself all day long.

Beautiful and super cozy!

I was so hesitant about making this purchase; I live in Minnesota and have like, five different jackets for varying temperatures. I thought it was unnecessary to add another but the Sherpa fleece looked so cozy. Okay, so this is truly the best piece in my wardrobe and I'm obsessed with it. I treat it like a house sweater - I put it on as soon as I get home and it is DIVINE. It's like walking around with a blanket attached to you, except it's not bulky and hard to manage. The other reviewers are correct that this wrap runs a little large - but that's alright, because you want it to envelop you. That's the point. Buttoning it up does make it appear even larger. It is so worth the price, I will have this for years. If you're waffling about whether or not to buy this...DO IT!

I wear this daily and it's the warmest coat I've ever owned. The material is super soft and cozy but the coat is not overly bulky.

I love shawl.collars and this is Amazing! Super plush, warm and stylish. It is a bit oversized t but for the wrap style it's is perfect! Excellent quality fleece that doesn't pull.amd.look worn. I originally saw it in Nordstrom but they only had ivory. I bought the brown and Love it!

I'm a young mother and a teacher. I looked for a comfortable and cozy coat and I found it! The coat is soooo soft and worm. It's an over size coat the keep you worm in the cold days.

I mourn the loss of summer, but this takes the sting out! It warm and cozy! The hood is a great size! I too get so many compliments on it!

I just received this piece and have already received heaps on comments on it from friends and co-workers. It does run VERY large becuase it is boxy cut. I am 5'7, 150lbs and pretty squarely a Medium at TNF. I got this in the XS/S, so size down. The body is still roomy, but thats the look. It's a fabulous winter statement maker. The collar is SO GREAT! What a queen's garment!

Absolutely LOVE this jacket! The color is amazing, it's super soft and it's a relaxed fit so it's not at all fitted or restrictive. I'd not hesitate to order another in a different color!

This is the softest, warmest, most awesome wrap I've ever purchased. Keep in mind it's designed as a wrap and to button it would make it look like it's swallowed me. It's perfectly long, I can't wait to wrap up in this on the couch with a good book! I'm 5'5 and 145lbs and ordered the s/m. There is no size that will make it flattering, it's meant to be oversized

I knew right away that I am going to be grabbing this every time I leave the house. It is so cozy and super soft! I ordered the xs/s after reading some reviews. I am really, really petite. The sleeve length is perfect and the coat length covers my bum. If you button it where the button is placed, yeah it seems huge but that is the style. You can just wrap yourself up in this coat like an old school fur or be crafty and move the button over to suit your needs. Get this...

This is definitely a stretch for me. I am a black North Face traditionalist and I bought the cedar brown color. I love this jacket because I feel like it's more fashionable, but still extremely warm and snuggly. It's very different from what I usually wear, but I got some great feedback so I decided to keep it.

I love this wrap! But let me be clear, it's more of a shrug or Snuggie than a jacket. It's oversized so that if you actually button the one button, it looks huge on you. And if you put the sleeve up yo your armpit, then the sleeves are very short. But it's not supposed to be a fitted jacket. So if you take it for what it is, a blankie with sleeves, and embrace it, you will absolutely fall in love. When you put your hands in the pockets and wrap it around you, it is warm, soft, and wonderful. It's like a hug in a jacket. I love being wrapped up in it by the fire or on the couch watching tv. I put it on this morning as I got out of bed because it's already chilly in the mornings. I love this jacket. It is so soft and comfortable that I would love to see this in a slightly more fitted jacket that I could wear out or to work.

This jacket is perfect! Exactly what I have been looking for. Cozy and luxurious, at the same time. Beautifully done. Really, really pleased! I love it! I want another one and I know what some of my holiday gifts to others will be! First time with NF. The beginning of a long term relationship!

runs big, and is overall just warm and convenient, it looks a bit frumpy but does the job (easy to grab, warm and comfortable)

This jacket is super warm and cozy, but the button placement really interferes with the warmth factor. First off, the button makes the fit HUGE and lets a lot of cold air in. If the button placement was more normal, the jacket would be much warmer. Also, I wore this yesterday with the hood up. Because there is no neck button, the upper chest and neck area were super exposed to the cold. You can always leave buttons undone, but if there is no button it limits your options. This jacket would be nice (for me) to the lower '50's or so. If the button placement were better, I'd be able to wear it down to the high 30's. The fabric is super soft and plush. I like the pockets, which are big enough for an oversized iPhone. Also, I like the wrist cuffs to keep the cold out.

Can I add to my earlier review? Replaced the original jacket with a SM/MD. I would usually wear a L. This seems better and the lack of shoulder seaming is not as much of a problem. Interesting that the hood is not quite big enough but that doesn't matter unless you really want a generous hood. It will be interesting to have a jacket/ wrap that is a bit different in style. Feels luxurious.

I'm typically a size 6. 135 lbs 5'6". I got the XS/S since I usually get a small. I found the sleeves borderline on being a tiny bit short. I love that there is a cuff...keeps cooler air out and I can push up the sleeves if need be. The body is a bit too oversized...not a deal breaker by any means The hood while appearing big, could actually use an inch more depth...and perhaps not so much width. Overall I really like it. I wanted something with hood that was fluffy inside and outside to keep me warm. The longer length and pockets are also important to me.

The Jacket is soft and cozy and big enough to layer over winter clothes. I like that, because I love to wear my wooly sweaters but sometimes need to put a coat on over them.
