This is made with Termoball, so nowhere near as warm as down. But the price is cheaper than down. Good for fall condition, probably up to 0 C or 32 F.
The jacket seems thin, but that because of the filling. I would spend more for down.

I really want to be able to use this in our gortex light jackets, similar to the fleece ..........have been waiting.
I have had such good experiences with all your products from Tents to sleeping bags to outerwear to shorts .....need this to have the coordinated zipper technology ...what is the hang up. I hope not $$$$

I'm using this for everyday use. I bought it because it's thin, flexible and trendy. When I picked it out online I assumed it would be a shiny, polished black. I was disappointed that it was in fact a dull black color.

It does a good job shielding from strong winds but is way more effective with one or two more layers.

It's for my teenage boy. It's not bulky and puffy. He loves to wear it everyday. It's also warm.

4th jacket I my collection and least favorite due to owning the quince, McMurdo and gate break jackets- I feel the sleeves are too long but jacket is overall a warm jacket and very lite.
I believe that the thermoball jacket is good jacket but not made for below 25 degrees but that's perfectly fine. Besides the longer sleeves compared to my other jackets , there are no complain tax

A warm jacket that stores away very easily and compact. I am a runner and stores this jacket in my backpack so that I can wear it outside later after I change into regular clothes. It is light and well designed. Love it!

Lightest jacket I ever owned. People see me and ask, "aren't you cold?" And I reply nope! I wore this jacket in the freezing cold but I would say 20-30 degrees is its limit, and that's with a light shirt underneath. Any colder and might want to use it as an inner layer.

Great light weight jacket for temps down to the low 30s by itself. Super warm when you throw a fleece or sweater underneath it. Great travel jacket because it folds up so small, and light enough to be a blanket.
Only concerns are the zippers, especially the pocket ones. They are small and I'm just waiting for them to break

Love my jacket. It's light and keeps you warm. My only complaint is that it runs a little big. Wish there was an extra small.

Solid coat for winter, super light but keeps you warm. Wish it was more of a slim fitting coat but overall great purchase.

This jacket is extremely light. Probably it's strongest point. However, it is so light and slippery, that having anything in the pockets pulls the jacket in that direction. Example: I have items in my pants pockets, so I love using jacket and coats for carrying my essentials. I place my iPhone with a case in the left pocket. This pulls the jacket to the left. Now I have my car keys and wallet on the right. Now it's just pulling the whole jacket forward and I feel the weight at the back of the neck. Didn't notice this when trying it on with empty pockets. Empty pockets, this jacket is extremely comfortable. Like wearing nothing. Stuff in pockets, it sort of sucks a bit. It doesn't stay on your shoulders because the material is so slippery.
Warmth? It's as expected. Warm enough. The salesperson said on cold days to layer??? Umm no. The jacket is much to form fitting for more than only your thinnest hoodie. This jacket is made for a long sleeve T or a button down plaid shirt. You wear this when going out on a casual trip and it's 30 degrees out and you won't be outside for extended time.
I love the looks but I'm still in search of something comfortable to wear while driving, correct warmth, and pockets. Previously my solution in a down vest with a thick hoodie. Probably going to stick to that for the 8th year straight. Or ask my wife to hold my wallet and keys in her purse.

This product is definitely better if you get it form fitting to retain the heat. Being that I do not like tight clothing it also works if you layer with the thermoball. Doesn't do a great job if the weather is very cold and you're going to walk around but works great to do errands etc. Love the fact that its not bulky and is comfortable wearing it in the car.

The jacket is warm, feels good, and is light weight. My problem is on the quality. I have had to return my jacket after only a few months to get a replacement. I would say I take care of my stuff rather well, and have never had any problems with jackets breaking or falling apart before. With this jacket while trying to zip it up all the way, the threading that holds the zipper teeth pulled out. I've never had this happen on any jacket, and I have some that are going on 15 years old. Another problem I had was with the stitching, which had come loose or undone.
When I went to return the jacket, I didn't have the receipt since I bought it several months before and due to the "lifetime" warranty. Well I was told without a receipt I would have to have the jacket sent in to be looked at. Well since my wife did that with another jacket and it took 7 weeks for them only to "MAIL" a gift card to her, I didn't want to do that. First they wanted me to buy another jacket, then let me give them mine so they could send it in for a refund.
That wasn't to my liking, so then they went looking in the store for another jacket, but none in the size and color that I wanted. So now they said I would have to turn my jacket in. That wasn't going to work, so after a long bit of negotiating they finally searched for a replacement to be shipped from another store. Almost took an hour for this to occur. I really wasn't impressed. So anyone who that doesn't keep their receipt, you're going to probably have hassles for a replacement unless you don't mind waiting a good amount of time. I should mention that my purchase was linked to my north face account, and still I needed a receipt.
For a jacket upwards of 100 dollars I would expect for the thing not to fall apart so easily. I'm really sick of companies selling their products at a high premium, only to have them made in poor countries. Passing some savings on to us would be nice. Perhaps bring back production in the USA.

Bought the conquer blue and love the color. Also very light and warm, but not too warm for hiking in late fall/winter!
