The jacket is really good. The only thing is that the zippers started falling within a week of use

Very thin and light weight, but surprisingly warm. It protects against wing and is great for active people. The only downside is it fits a little larger than my other north face jackets.

Very comfortable, just want I wanted as far as warmth. Fits a little boxy especially in the shoulders and I have wide shoulders

I would use this product when out in the winter cold. It protects me from cold and wind, is light weight and I can move freely.

I use it casually. It's lightweight and comfortable and it keeps me warm for being a lighter type of jacket.

The size estimator on the web site is off by one size for this jacket in my case at least. The jacket is stylish, looks good and keeps you warm. I got a good deal around Thanksgiving!

Stitching/thread seems to come loose easily. Have had to clip loose ends several times already. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. Excellent fit and comfort. Very warm. I have another one from a year ago and didn't have any stitching/thread problem.

Awesome jacket!!! Plenty warm if you zip up, and use the hem cinch-cord. Out of 5 stars, this jacket would be a 6 if it included an internal zip pocket (not sure what The North Face has against internal zip pockets that they rarely include them no matter how expensive the jacket is, so given that the competition has them, 4 stars for now). The specs make no mention of any wind resistance for this jacket, but it held up well in 42 degree weather with 20 mph winds. The jacket also seems to strike the right balance between warmth and breath ability. The two front zipper pockets are warm and deep, and I can't believe how silky soft and comfy this jacket is! Why bother with down, and feather leakage when you can rock a thermoball???

This is a very thin coat I would put it in the jacket family but it is warm and is nice because it's not bulky. I do like it.

This is a beautiful jacket. I bought it for my husband. The sequoia red is rich and wonderful. My husband loves the lightweight warmth. I love the look on him. I would recommend this for those who need a lightweight, packable jacket.

This is a gift for my husband for Christmas. He wants a lightweight warm coat. It looks stylish and feels comfortable. I will have to update my review once I see his reaction and he reports back on its fit, feel and its warmth.

I ended up returning this jacket for a couple of reasons. In looking at insulated jackets, I realized that I wanted the more traditional wider horizontal "baffles" with insulation versus the smaller ones. When I tried the jacket on at home, my wife said it looked like a girl's jacket. That pretty much did it for me as far as solidifying the decision to return it. It could look more like a men's jacket if the waist were tapered more (bigger on top, slimmer on the bottom). I'd also like to have a Napolean pocket (left chest pocket with zipper) to hold my cell phone. I have several jackets with this and I will no longer buy jackets that don't have them. They are extremely convenient.

I use this coat to wear in the fall and winter seasons. I don't recommend wearing this coat in the winter without a thermal or a sweater underneath when it's under 40 degrees outside.

Great light weight, warm jacket. I use it under my parka/shell while commuting in Seattle and it adds a great mid layer. I wish it had an interior pocket and an extra flap over the top of the zipper would have been nice. Otherwise, very happy with the jacket.
