Returned the medium, kept the large. True to size. Versatile jacket when it is comfortable and cold.

The quality of the product is very good. Seams, zipper stitching, all are as expected. I do add a little nylon to the zipper to make it easier to open and close with gloves on. Wish they thought about that but that's nitpicking. For a 3-1 this jacket is heavy. I have pulled out the liner and just worn a thin hoodie under it to keep from melting in it. It's definitely ready for freezing weather. Rain, sleet, and snow will not soak in anywhere. It'll meet your expectations but if you're not using it for freezing environments or just spring skiing/boarding I'd look somewhere else. There is too much of a weight penalty for temperatures above freezing.

Everyday winter wear, great for walks on cold days

I can't believe how warm it kept me considering how light it was. I did find that it ran a bit big and exchanged it for a smaller size.

Needed a jacket for the mild cold winters in southern California yet needed something when going snowboarding. This jacket killed two birds in one stone. Love it!

It will be my every day jacket.

My husband received this jacket a few days ago and he loves it. He normally wears hoodies and many layers do I opted to buy this lighter jacket. He's worn it every and he's impressed by the quality as this is his first The North Face jacket.

Good jacket

Although it is a men's model, it ended up being the right fit to a tall woman like me as the women's models are usually too tight at the back/shoulders. I mostly use this to commute to/from work - early morning when it is still very cold and windy, it helps a lot between home-garage and then parking -office. When it is time to return home it gets chilly and so it prevents the wind gush at parking lot.

Walking back and forth on college campus. Internship downtown Canton OH walking from the parking garage outside the wind tunnels don't bother me a bit.

He wears it for taking hikes. He plans to even wear it over his suit on the coming rainy days. Bought the black one so it looks less casual.

This is a great jacket! I'm usually a medium but the website recommended a small and it fits perfect. It feels great to put on, keeps me warm, and has bigger pockets than I expected. A friend of mine is considering buying this jacket after trying out mine. My only complaint is the zipper pulls. Not the actual zipper but the thing they attached to the zippers. It just seems like those were an after thought, but when you are complaining about such a minor thing you know the jacket is amazing!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6'0" 210 lbs son and XL fit perfectly. He really wanted a triclimate jacket and this fit him well. Loved this look on him and knowing NorthFace lasting quality and style from our previous NorthFace purchases, we hope he will wear this for many years to come.

Ordered this coat for my boyfriend who normally wears a size large. The large was just a tad too snug for him, as he likes his clothes a little looser so we exchanged it for an extra large. Larger size fits perfect and he likes that he can take off the outer shell for just a lighter jacket.

Love the unique color and how versatile the coat is.

Other people notice this jacket it is an attention atracter because its nice style l think. I like how it looks l wear it for work mostly it is elegant but also sport and warm enough for cold wather l would say 30 may be 28 or even 26 degrees depend on how the person is used to cold weather l think.

Great jacket for what seems to be for everything possible in places that have rain and snow. Would not trade it for any other jacket that I've had in my lifetime

Great fit, true to size. The jacket looks like it was tailored to me.

Huge pockets were unexpected, but after a few days I love them. Gloved hands fit w/ no problem. Coat is warm & dry for casual outdoor activity, probably too warm for high intensity activity

I Live at the UK and this Jacket was perfect for the rainy cold days that usually England has.
