Wear to and from work and gym on weekdays, play outside with son on weekends and warm, comfortable and not overheated. Will wear lighter clothes for biking and running, but this is great for day to day and snowy, wet weather

I wear this jacket when I go outside when it's cold, it's very comfortable, light weight and it's soft inside so it slides in your arms easy. Great product.

Gave this to my man for Christmas. He loves it and said it's the warmest jacket. Perfect for the snow/sleet where he lives

Here in Maine the winter months can be hard and cold so it is essential to dress correctly for the weather, with my new jacket I am comfortable doing everything from watching my daughter play outside to gathering firewood and going on hikes or when there is to much snow we like to go snowshoeing. What I am trying to say is this jacket is hands down better than any L.L. BEAN jacket I ever bought.

It's more lightweight than what I was expecting. I like how the logo was more discreet. You can wear the inner liner by itself and it still looks good. I got it on sale so it was a good deal. Not sure if I would pay full price for it though.

Bought this for my athletic teenager who usually hates wearing a winter coat as they tend to be bulky. This is the 1st coat in his teen years that I have not had to argue or beg him to put on. It's easy to put on or take off layer makes it perfect for the changing weather, but yet it still feels light and not bulky. Would definitely buy again in another size when je grows out of this one.

I purchased this my son to use primarily when skiing. He is always cold, does not like jackets that are too bulky and loves this jacket so far. He said it keeps him warm. He is 6'2 140lbs. I bought him the large.

I wasn't sure about purchasing this jacket because of some of the negative reviews but I could not be happier that I did. Yes, if it's extremely cold then I recommend wearing a heavier sweater or sweatshirt underneath. It's not a heavy winter coat. But I've worn is many times with temps in the single digits and windchills at or below zero and I'm very comfortable. The fact that it's windproof is the key. It completely blocks out any wind. And it's not bulky so it's great for walks, hikes, whatever.

I bought this cost for my husband. He loves the fit and warmth. His workout of 14 miles a day includes outdoor brisk walking of 7 miles on average. We have had a very cold January and February but this coat has made it easy to outdoors in the winter months. I would definitely buy one for my adult son.

My husband wears this for the winter especially since he has bus duty at his school and has to stand out in the cold.

I bought this jacket as a gift for my dad for Christmas. The color makes it great for quail/upland hunting, and the flexibility of the jacket means that you can adjust the jacket as the day warms up. He loved it, but it was a bit too small (my fault, not TNF's). So I kept that one and ordered him another. Love it.

Works great in damp wet which is the Pacific Northwest. The pockets of the outer shell are not lined, so they don't do anything to keep the hands warm, but a pair of gloves solves that. Although the jacket seems rated for colder weather, it feels more like a lightweight jacket to me. But the bottom line, I'm happy with my purchase.

It's lightweight but very warm so it's very comfortable to drive in. There is an outer shell so you basically get 3 coats for the price of one.
